No TV

Nets = 3-15 on the road
Wolves = 6-8 at home

equals big win for the home team

Happy New Year!

Darko is day-to-day but I'm guessing he at least starts.

They really should just sit Darko for a week and let him get healthy. I'm getting annoyed seeing him constantly tweaking something.

We should win this one. I definitely think we are the more talented team. Favors seems like the PF that can give Love trouble though. I guess its a good thing that he cant stay out of foul trouble

Graphically very impressive GT. one of the best i've seen on this forum for a while. (e:TJ's last was off the charts as well)

Yea they should just sit Darko. i really don't get this. Is he really that valuable for a starting push?

Very reliable source says Kim Kardashian, GF of Nets F Chris Humphries, will be courtside at Target Center tomorrow.

From yesterday:

#Twolves Darko Milicic practices today with the team. Head coach Kurt Rambis said he expects him to play tomorrow vs New Jersey.

Well, our defense is quite pathetic if he is not out there. Literally no one but him protects the rim. The Nets are so offensively inept that I think we can get away with sitting him though.

Kim meeting the fam? Maybe its more serious than we thought! :o

This is gonna be a good one. With Beas killing it & WJ hitting those 3s, we win this one. Only player I'm worried about going off is Harris.

She's 5.2-3, he's 6.9. Yes, i know its Kim Kardashian. I don't even look at women that height and im a tad over 6.4 with shoes. David and Goliath light right there. Why just not find a volley-ball girl? Guess that relationship is what keeps him starting for the Nets (and a bunch of other privileges, no). If my wicked theory holds, Sasha will move up in the lineup too soon.

Well, now it hit lol me. Its Brook Lopez after all. One of the more productive C's in the league and it would be wise to have a stopper on him. Besides, correct me if im wrong but Lopez is even their 1st option i think.

Isnt Lopez basically a jump shooter? He doesnt strike me as the type of player that you'd need a rim protector. Their wings are pathetic and Hump is a hustle guy. The only player who that worries me is Harris, and PGs destroy us even if Darko is in there

Havent watched him. If he's a jump shooter there's already a strong indication not to put Love on him right there due to his unimpressive history of not contesting outside shots on his man.

I'm sure Pek would be on him when he is in there

Nice GT C.lupus.

Gotta bounce back from that last loss and get wins in 3 of the last 4 tonight. Month of Jan. is a softer schedule for us, we play some weaker teams that we should beat.

Our bench was outscored by Denver's bench pretty bad last game if I remember correctly. Hope to see them step it up tonight.

No TV? Didn't FSN see that GB thread about how the Nets were going to be a playoff team?

Darko on Lopez, Love on Humphries. If Darko can't go, one of Pek or Kosta on Lopez.
"A while back,'' Cardinal said, "I took a picture of the standings and texted it to Love, just to bust his chops,'' Cardinal said. "He sent me a picture back of a snowdrift.''

GO WOLVES! Let's hope they pull off a January similar to last year. Or was it February last year? Either way, history has shown we play much better at start the of calendar year much better than late during a calender year.

Also, they better pull out a W tonight. My honor is at stake because my roommate is still a Nets fan.

From this:
Match-up to Watch
Darko Milicic vs. Brook Lopez
The Nets success level should not overshadow Brook Lopez and his immense talent at the center position. One of the true 7-footers left in the game, Lopez is averaging a career-best 19.3 points per game. The one issue with Lopez is the glaring drop in rebounding numbers as the third-year big man only grabs 6.2 boards each contest. Tonight, Minnesota will need a hobbling Darko Milicic to contain Lopez in the paint and limit his production on the blocks. Milicic only played 14 minutes on Wednesday night after a left hip injury forced him to the Wolves locker room. The couple days of rest in between games might have allowed ample recovery time for Minnesota’s top defensive player. His health and the Wolves frontline defense will certainly be two key areas to watch tonight.

I'd say he is playing but still isn't 100%. :dontknow:
