Guess he wants to go the acting route vs. basketball.

Here's the video:

He even took acting classes in the summer

Too bad he's not focusing on basketball. I think he can still get back in the league if he really tried hard enough. Doesn't seem like basketball is his true #1. Thoughts?

I haven't really followed up on McCants, but I'm sure he could focus on both. As for the trailer, I didn't turn the sound on. I don't want to listen to it if it's bad because I fear it will scar me for life.

It's badly acted but the plot seems weak anyway. I mean, McCants is an apparent drug lord with an emo fringe.

For some reason I feel really bad for him. He seems to have had some focus issues that kept him from his potential.

Hopefully he becomes successful at whatever he pursues.

I mean it seemed that he was trying to get on a team in the summer but when he didn't make an NBA roster you have to wonder if he kind of "gave up" or wanted to try something else out and give basketball a "break". I mean the Mavs just signed Sasha Pav, Rashad could've easily filled that position.

That's freaking awesome. I could tell he liked dealing with the camera years ago He seemed to really enjoy doing that project where he was filming the wolves. I said back then I could see him going into broadcasting like Jalen Rose or something.

Anyway watched the trailer. What's really sad is that McCants looks like the best actor in that whole thing.

Someone tell me that this is a joke and that it will wind up on the Comedy Channel. You can't make this stuff up, wow.....

McCants will be dirt poor within five years. As executive producer on this garbage, he wrote a check to make it happen and it won't see a dollar.

This kid has talent and made money, but he'll be broke in no time.

Here's the caption from youtube:
Created, produced and directed by Rich King Ent. Group's Dwayne Barnes and Malaku McCray, "The Booster Club" is a comedy series that will take viewers into the lives of a ring of professional booster "thieves" dedicated to the advancement of those addicted to the high of stealing. "The Wire" meets "Weeds" is the best way to describe it. It stars Traci Lords, Rashad McCants, Lamyia Good, Virginia Watson, Amy Bell, Nathaniel Lamar, Cru Ennis, and Latonya Holmes.

Comedy?...THE WIRE???...Did I miss something? I guess I got a pretty good chuckle out of Rashad McCants in a wig, but I can't imagine that that could carry a show...

Just because he got an executive producer credit, doesn't mean he financed the film.

LOL. It's still a hell of a lot better than anything I have seen in Network TV in the past 12 months. I bet we will be discussing the heck out of this show on the good TV thread in no time!

sasha pav seemed like he would have a better career than he did. Length, athleticism, decent jumper, ok defender...He fell off hard
