I am excited about the idea of this new prospect coming to play for our young, learning Timberwolves. I hope that he will be a stabilizing force that will help us close out games.

Does anyone know about when he's coming over? Kahn has said time and time again "VERY SOON" but outside of that I have no information. Hopefully the reports are true and he is, in fact, a basketball jesus.

I hope to learn more about this exciting young player in the coming years! Hopefully he and Al Jeff will have great chemistry.

wow this is truly an amazing feat lol 3 threads now! i'll add my 2 cents worth if its worth anything.

1. He will be our starting pg next season (provided there is basketball next year).
2. Like most players dreading coming to Minnesota, will fall in love with the place and the fan base.
3. Will struggle offensively, but will be a little similar to rondo in his first year in the nba.

My question is what happens to Flynn, Ridnour and Telfair when he comes?!?!?

Telfair is a Free Agent so he's gone regardless, Flynn gets traded this offseason, and Ridnour is the backup.

Kahn says he will be in a Timberwolves uniform in 2012 without question.
St. Nick believes we will be forced to entertain low-ball offers, and his most likely destination will be the Nets.
Some have compared Rubio to Maravich, Kidd, Nash, and Rondo.
Flip Saunders compared him to Jason "White Chocolate" Williams.

Ricky 6pts (1-4FG, 3-4FT), 2reb, 5ast, 5stl, 2to in 25min.

I noticed he tattooed his arm, maybe he's getting ready for the NBA :lol:
