I didn't see another topic for this, but apparently Wes Johnson is already in for the Rookie-Sophmore team.

Kind of embarrassing that Turner didn't make it. I'm not saying he's a bust or anything like that, but a bunch of people on here were willing to to give up a lot to trade up for him.

Grats to Wes though, he deserves it. I think Collison is a snub on the soph team.

Interesting. I think that the rooks have a shot to win for once.

The curse continues, another rookie or Sophomore misses the game.

I was worried a bit that Wes wouldn't get in, but with his recent play, (and the play before the rookie wall) he deserves it.

Now let's hope one other wolf (Love) gets to play some in the ASG.

Also: Another link confirming Wes is in. (From NBA.com of course)

I think that the reason most of us(at least me) wanted turner was because he fit here really well. He doesn't fit well in Philly IMO, that's why i didn't get why they would really want him, since he probably won't be a superstar. Here he could of been a 20-6-5~ guy really. He would of had some nice shooters around him and gotten to have the ball in his hands a lot this season, unlike Philly where they have Iggy, Holiday, Brand, and even Lou Williams. I'd offer them Wes for Turner right now see whats up.

It's cool, that wasn't intended to be a jibe against anyone who wanted/wants Turner or anything. :)

I agree with you about Philly's situation, though, but I guess Turner looked like the out-and-out second best player at the time of the draft. All signs look pretty indicative that Iguodala will be traded, so who knows what will happen with Turner over in Philly? It's an interesting situation there, I expect them to be active before the trade deadline.

I think it is a reference to Jonny or Wayne not getting in.
I thought both Flynn and Love made it last year, but I hardly remember last years roster at all.

This seems like a much better thread for this post:

Breakdown777 wrote:Congrats on making the Rookie team Wes!

Now we just need:

Darko in the skills challenge
Wes and Love in the 3 point shootout
Flynn in the dunk contest (they need a new short guy)
Love to the ASG

and Pek in the new arm wrestling competition.

At least we'll have some ASW representation if Love doesn't get the call up. Hopefully we get a few highlight dunks from Wes inbetween the Blake Griffin show.

For a relatively unheralded draft class, that's a pretty fierce Rookie team.

The question whether Love will make the ASG will be answered tonight 7 PM ET. Will he be the second Wolf to make the All Star team? Can't wait.

What do you mean the 2nd Wolf? I think 4 Wolves have been all-stars.
