Flynn's recent play

Has anyone noticed that Flynn has been modeling his play after Ridnour these past few games? The pull up 3's, the little floaters, is it just me or am I seeing some Rid influence here?

Seeing this makes me not hate maybe getting Nash here for a year w/ Rubio...Obviously things would have to be shaken up at PG, though.

Flynn has been playing pretty well as of late, obviously the defense is still non-existant but going forward he's playing well. He's been driving a bit more, getting plenty of assists and not been been on jumpshots.

I'm finding it hard to seperate him and Bassy who are a better fit than us. When Bassy has got minutes he's impressed.

I would like Flynn or Bassy moved at the deadline. I still have hopes for a deal.

Flynn has a higher possible ceiling than Bassy. Bassy is a 6 year professional. He can still become a good, reliable PG but Flynn is coming off a lot of missed time and an injury. Flynn is also 22 years old. That means he has a long way to go to get his game to his optimal level. Some PG's like Centers, take a long time to find their way. Maybe Telfair is finally finding who he is as a PG. Short term, he may be the better fit because Rubio will also take a long time to adjust, It's not out of the realm of possibility that he may not be true starting PG material until 2015 or later.

Flynn, Rubio, and to a lesser extent Telfair will all need to have a lot of resources put into them if we want to continue to develop them into the best possible players they can be.

Whats up with Ridnour anyway? When is he coming back? He was playing well

I'd love Flynn moved at the deadline for a pick next year, hopefully in the top 10.

If Flynn is moved for a pick, I would guess it would happen at draft time not at the deadline.

He was dealing with family issues. They were thinking he would be back for the last game, but must not have made it in time.

And we definitely won't be getting a top 10 pick for him.

just because you draft Flynn in the top 10 doesn't mean that's what you can get in return several years later
