EGO >>> I noticed last year and even more so this year that if the player Jonny is supposed to be guarding makes a 3 or burns him for a lay-up - he tries to do the same thing on our next possession. More often than not it is an ill advised shot that has little chance of going in. But it does give him a chance to complain to the refs that he was fouled.

ATTITUDE >> Almost every time Jonny makes a mistake he feels it is either the refs fault or another players fault. He gets all bent if someone doesn't read his mind on all his lazy and ill advised passes. He points at the other player makes gestures like shaking his head at how "dumb" they are.

SELF PITY > "I should be the feature point guard">> Another of Jonny's issues stem from Ridnour. When Jonny was playing ahead of only Telfair (Sessions last year) he knew he would get the majority of the minutes. He played better - not great - just better. Now that Ridnour has returned, Jonny's head is back up his a$$.

He may not ever become a very good NBA player but he is bad mojo for this team right now. The other night when he was told he wasn't starting the 2nd half, he threw a small hissy fit on the bench. GROW UP Jonny.

I think it is time for an NBA version of the military "blanket party" with Jonny as the recipient.

Yep. This board has really gone down the **** in the past couple years. Ppl like rev, casey, deeney, j2j, etc hardly post anymore. Instead we get stupid rants like this thread. Then once Jonny is playing well the same ppl will be loving him. No one holds anyone accountable for their comments so ppl just spew whatever garbage they want then change their mind later. Isn't that what Rubechat is for?

The Bucks board for example holds ppl to their stance for years. Everyone knows everyone and knows their position on certain topics. Makes for a much better forum than ours.

The perfect example would be Klomp and his incredibly obnoxious hating on Brewer towards the start of the season. One game thread in particular was really pathetic. But a month or so later Klomp is a big Brewer fan..

Completely agree, it's such a hyprocritical board at times, I haven't been here long enough to know about certain people but I agree. People were calling for Love to be traded, that Darko was crap and many, many more scenario's.

I like the core of this board though and that's what makes me keep coming on here, not to mention I enjoy gamenights and where else can I post/talk about the Wolves on the net..apart from rubechat which I'll pass on.

Ha I was one that wanted Love traded. I still do but now I can want ALOT more in return haha.

Darko probably fries some posters brains because he is so inconsistent. Am I a fan? Am I not a fan? Am I a fan? ..

The board is in transition right now. A lot of the old guard are moving on with their lives and new posters are moving in. Trades (e.g., Beasley) bring new posters as well. This is just life. Constant turnover on the team exasperates this, too. I also suspect the average age of posters here is younger than in the past couple years. None of this is necessarily bad. New blood is good and we've picked up some really good posters in the past year or so.

I'm not sure holding people to a stance for years is a reasonable request with a team that is so young and developing (or at least is supposed to be developing). I mean last year my stance on Kevin Love was that he was too fat and out of shape to play more than 25 mpg. I'd look pretty silly holding that stance this year and for years to come because Love has changed. I agree that there should be way less manic-depressive posting but folks should be allowed to change their opinions based on player and team performance as well. There should be a happy medium somewhere.

If you guys have constructive suggestions for making this board more enjoyable, I would be quite open to hearing them and I'm sure Klomp would, too.

I think I still would want a Josh Smith for Love trade.

Thanks for your response. Holding someone to a stance like yours of Love last season wasn't what I meant. I don't think your stance was that he would be a winded pudge his whole career. I'm talking about things like Darko being a capable starter or Love being a player a team can be built around. I get that the team has been changing rapidly over the past couple years so long term stances aren't as realistic as on the Bucks board.

However I would think that ppl have seen Brewer and Darko enough to know they are inconsistent as can be. Yet ppl have an what have you done for me lately (the last game) attitude about them. It makes no sense.

I just want players on the floor who can produce for this team. If you earn your playing time and are playing well, I have no problem with you. I never hated Brewer, I was just frustrated because I knew hhow much better he is than what he was showing us. Now, I feel similarly of Beasley. Yes I know he's injured, but that doesn't mean we can completely dismiss some of his recent poor performances.

But really, I'd say his main issue is a lack of focus and complete lack of BBIQ, complemented by the desire to showboat and try to make highlight plays.

4) Constantly distracted by Brewer's catepillar-like eyebrows.

I feel like some of the younger players (and quite a few of the fans!) are starting to feel the weight of all the losses. Earlier this year it seemed like a bunch more wins were just around the corner. Now it seems like that corner is getting farther and farther away.

Jonny seems like he isn't learning very quickly. I imagine in a few years he will either settle into a solid bench PG or else filter out of the league. His difficulties are definitely mental, though. Whether it's intellectual or egoic hardly seems to matter. The point is, he's not playing very well.
