Lets hope he completements well with Love, Milicic and Pek. I think Tolliver is almost gone now, though.

Did you hear in that second video that he was born in Germany?

I think Tolliver stays. He's the perfect role player and I don't think he's the kind of guy to complain about minutes and stuff like that.

Good that this finally happened though and I'm interested to see what he can do on this team.

That's cool. That woman in that interview is terrible, though. She asks way too many unimportant questions way too fast and the background music is horrible as well.

I don't know what to expect from him, it's obviously going to take a while for him to get up to speed after warming the bench in New York all season. I just hope fans aren't calling for his head after 5 games because of a bit of rust.

Why would they? They didn't do that with Darko last season so they won't do it to Randolph. At least in theory.

Seeing that Tolliver is the 2nd best player (and value) on that list, I don't see how you could be correct.

A neat fact is that with the cap space made available from the Jefferson trade Kahn was able to get two of the prospects the team originally targeted.

Beasley, Randolph, Memphis 1st, Utah 1st (minus 2 seconds, minus Brewer)

That's a pretty good haul.

Might look at the roster.
Kevin Love PF
Anthony Randolph PF
Michael Beasley SF/PF
Anthony Tolliver PF

So unless we mystically decide to play full time small ball with Love as the center Tolliver is redundant. I like his effort and defense but acquiring Randolph points towards letting Tolliver walk. Love might get some C minutes against smaller teams but then you still got Beasley occasionally and Randolph taking away minutes from him. If he doesn't decide to outplay Anthony Randolph we'll see him moving on. It would actually be sad because he put in effort and I like the guy but it's just a likely option IMO.

Ridnour/Flynn/(Rubio)/Telfair
Webster/Wes/Wayne
Beasley/Wes/Webster/Hayward
Love/Randolph/Tolliver/Beasley
Darko/Pek/Love/Koufos

And even if we're going with Love as a center Randolph seems like a better compliment down the road because he's got the size that Tolliver lacks. I'm not a fan of making Love our center, though. We've had that problem already with Jefferson.

I'm not a cap specialist but didn't we have enough cap space to absorb Beasley before the Jefferson deal was done?

Nah, now that he's in 'Sota, his potential is down to zero.

I stopped reading here. Nice bias you're trying to insert into your post. Randolph is only a PF? Tolliver is only a PF? Okay.

AR could be a much better version of Tolliver (if he fulfills his potential).
At the end of the day Beaz and Love are our starting forwards so AR could play minutes behind both of them (the way Tolliver is right now) and a little bit at C (again, the way Tolliver is right now) so I can see why having both of them could be an issue.

Honeslty, AR's gonna get minutes, or else this trade was pointless, he was already warming the bench in NY, we brought him here to play him and see if we can do one better.

That's what these players are best suited for.
So you want to tell me that Tolliver could actually play SF when we already complain that the handles of Beasley and Wes are too bad? Or do you want to tell me he should play C? Certainly not.
And Randolph could possibly play some C, too, but in that case it would be for the sake of keeping Love at PF then opening minutes for your backup PF. With Beasley and Wes Johnson on the team Randolph won't see many if any minutes as a SF.
