Found an article from the "sacbee" about the Wolves:

Kahn walked by Beasley the other day as he pedaled on an exercise bike and told him he expected a "huge" finish to the season.

"He said, 'I can do that, D.K.,' " Kahn said. "I said, 'Good, I wouldn't ask you to do something you can't do.' He's capable of so many things."

The article focuses on Kahn's feelings (aka: D.K.) about this young core. I noticed a lot of people frustrated with Darko last night, and while I think I think those frustrations are valid, I have to say I'm happy Kahn is not changing gears due to worries about his job security or frustration with the teams failures.

As frustrating as Darko has been, Beasley in his own way has been equally frustrating. Laugh at Kahn (KAHHHHHHNNNNNN) all you want, but he's sticking his neck out for a very young, talented team he believes in. (sorry for being so idealistic)

Whatever happens post all star break going into the offseason I'm not losing faith.

Anyone else get a bad feeling seeing this in print?

Of course he's sticking his neck out. He formed the team itself (well, he didn't get our best player, but he got everything else).

EDIT: To the above, who the heck wouldn't want sunshine at this point in the year? When winter is at its worst I always contemplate moving from here.

I've lived in Minnesota for 30+ years, I would never live anywhere else. But if given the opportunity to ditch work for a week and sit in Miami in the winter, I'd take it in a heart beat. Doesn't mean I'm taking my lack of talent to South Beach.
