There seems to be a lot of negativity on this board right now, so I thought we should have a place to talk about the positives of Kurt Rambis' rotations. It's long been NBA conventional wisdom that you get the most out of your talent by playing 10 and 11-man rotations significant minutes so each player has time to establish their rhythm. I'm thankful he keeps players on their toes by making decisions on who should play from night to night in consultation with his Ouija Board. While his coaching inferiors like Greg Popovich set a consistent rotation and stick with it, regardless of the results of 2 or 3 games, under Kurt Rambis' visionary leadership the Timberwolves refuse to fall into the trap. I shudder to think where this team would be record wise without the superior coaching they've been getting. To all the people who are criticizing him, maybe you've forgotten that they're young, and last year didn't count. You can judge Kurt Rambis' results when he tells you you can judge them.

Exactly! It's a 3 year process, so we can't judge Rambis until next year. And if we're still bad next year, then it's obviously a 4 year process, and we can't judge Rambis until the year after next year. Etc, etc, etc.

Minnesota hasn't any hurry for fire Rambis now. I think the team of this seasson (until february) have practically the same level than the last seasson one (Beasley x Jefferson, with a little plus of Wes). Perhaps now the teamwork is something better.

I think isn't fair fire Rambis now. He is doing all he can with this roster : Remember, he still hasn't a pure PG and a dominant Center. Lets wait to see what Rambis can do with Rubio and a good 5.
