We're still hanging in mediocrity for 6 years now. I don't think it can be much worse.

We haven't sniffed mediocrity in years.

Honestly, i'm not really sure which is worse right now. I kind of wish somebody in the Wolves organization would protest.

There's nobody on our team that has even achieved enough in the league to have a right to protest.

yep, it could be way worse: most of Libya supports the magic, apparently Gaddafi is a bullets fan.

I think one of this young team's problem is that no one on the team has enough passion or fire to get mad enough to initiate something like this. I'm not sure that I would agree with them if they did and I'm not sure I support the Detroit players' act of public disrespect and insubordinate behavior (even if Kuester probably totally deserved it). But I would support a little more fire and passion out of our players... a little more accountability to each other. When Beas yelled at Pek to get back on defense I thought we were starting to get on the right track. That is the type of fire I'd like to see more of.

Agreed. I wasn't specifically calling for a player boycott, just some fire/passion from SOMEBODY in the organization. Taylor evidently has lit no fire under Kahn's butt. Kahn thinks this team is fine. Rambis just sits in the games not changing anything about his approach. the players just keep doing the same thing over and over. Somebody show some kind of disgust over this season, please.

The Pistons have won titles. They can stand to suffer a bit. They haven't' been through the quarter of the crap we had to deal with. They don't got it worse, not by a long shot.

Detriot messed up when they extended rip and decided to "smoke'em while you got'em" on overpaying Ben Gordon and Charlie V......stupidest thing ever. Sure the fans woulda been mad to see no FA acquisitions with all that extra payroll space, but that's that dumbest thing you can do (overpaying for 4th and 5th options).
Now they refuse to treat Rip with any sort of respect after he had a big impact on how great they were while they were contending.
Detriot really gets what it deserves in that regard. On the other hand, I'm loving' Greg Monroe, Will Bynum, Austin Daye, and Jonas Jerebko. They just need to unload some dead weight (and for some reason refuse to sell-low to do so).
