So now that the season is nearing its end........

What is supercool's impression to yall? Do you like his tenure so far as a T-Wolf? As a Heat fan who has witnessed his first 2 years in Miami, I would love to gather some impressions from the T-Wolves fam.

Would you like to keep him and involve him in that young core that would hopefully contend in the years to come? Perhaps even give him an extension................Or would you rather ship him off this off-season to get a different piece?

As one of Mike's longtime fans, I have definitely seen a lot of improvement this season -- especially maturity wise. I really hate it when other outsiders label him like an ex convict or something cause the kid's a really good guy and learned a lot from his Miami tenure. Underrated work ethic and has shown nice/decent leadership so far imo (ex. motivating Darko to being angry to Pek while tying his shoe.) The D problems are still there obviously......but he has shown flashes that he could be a better defender and a better ballhandler. The staredown iso can destruct the offense at times though, but I suppose that's what scorers do. He's still learning so that could only get better.......I hope he can go to the line more often since he has that nice first step.

I still see a lot of improvement w/ Beas in Minny if he stays and if he develops more, he could be a solid go-to guy in crunchtime here imo. He's built for that. Just need to stay consistent, avoid losing focus and committing TO's and most importantly, stay healthy cause these ankle issues have affected him badly since he was having a great damn stretch pre-unjury. He's only 22 remember, so there's still a lot of upside.

I personally think we should keep him as our core for the next few years. Of course, as you stated, he needs to work on his defense, but he has a Carmelo-like offense at times and that gives us that extra boost if our other players aren't doing so well.

I'd like to know what Beasley's trade value is. Lately he's been a disappointment, he's still shooting a lot but now he's not shooting a good percentage. He also needs to become more aggressive and take it to the rim more often. I'm not sure if he's still being bothered by the ankle or the league has figured him out offensively but I hope he can get back to scoring 20-25 a night on a regular basis. If he can get us an Iggy type SG then I'm all for trading him but other than that I'm fine with keeping him at SF as long as Wes can continue to play SG at a good level.

He has the tools, and shows flashes of brilliance at times but he's pretty inconsistent and gets rattled fairly easily. I think he will only get better from here but I feel like he'll be held back mentally and defensively from being an elite player. Time will tell though. I wouldn't be too upset if we traded him, it would simply round out our roster and help our overall defense. Has slightly exceeded day-of-trade expectations. His attitude concerns are non-existent, he wants to win and does sometimes get upset when things aren't going right, but who wouldn't on this team for crying out loud. He's trying to develop into the leader/finisher role which he can potentially do, but he's not there yet. Looking forward to see what happens in his career.

I think firstly the losing is wearing on him, he doesn't have that same pep he had early in the year. But also with that, the ankle injuries mid season really set him back as far as rhythm and just explosiveness. It seems like he's struggled to kind of find his spots since that time. I'd definitely want him back, especially after watching the offense try to operate without him. But if the opportunity presents itself to net a big time piece by using him, I wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger.

The first few months of the season he was absolutely fantastic, offensively anyway. Won the Sac away game basically on his own, went on that run of so many straight 30+ point games. He hit what turned out to be 2 game-winners, 3 maybe but 2 I remember. Clippers game and the Cleveland away game are the two I remember. He was looking like he could turn into our main focal point offensively, lovely mid-range game, decent enough going to the rim and on the odd occasion can hit on the outside. He's also been good for the squad motivation wise and sometimes discipline wise. Proved this by screaming at Pek earlier on in the season at Houston to get back on defense.

However, niggling ankle sprains and other nagging injuries have really derailed his season, he's become really inconsistent and has rarely regained the form he was in at the start of the season. It's a damn shame because he really was looking that good, his D has always been a bit anonymous but the effort always looked to be there. Has the ability to challenge/block shots and isn't seen trodding back in transistion. I'm still not convinced that he has really ever 100% recovered from his ankle difficulties and that's why I've always been a bit 50/50 about trading him given his blistering start to the season.

I think he would make a great number 2 scorer next to a slashing/playmaker guard.

Needs better handles and needs to get to the line more often.

I think Kahn is planning on keeping him per the 'no more wholesale changes' speech.

I don't really expect him to add another level to his offensive game, I think he is what he is as a scorer at this point. I think he could really help himself by learning to be more of a distributer. He had a beautiful pass to K-Love late in the game from the perimeter where he basically got K-Love the easiest 2 points of the evening. I think if Beas could round out other parts of his offensive game he would make improvements. Also improving his handle would really help.

His Defense needs to really improve. This was his first season as primarily a SF, and I think he'll get better. He's not lazy on D, so he can be at least average someday.

He needs to get his D, rebounding, and passing games better, because I think he'll always be a streaky player and if he's not on then he has to be able to contribute in other ways. When he's on, though, he is deadly.

Love his attitude, but he has a lot of work to do to reach his potential. He needs to really improve his study of the game in terms of number of ways to be a part of the game. Things he can improve on are when to shoot and when to pass, how to better draw fouls, and also develop a wider repertoire of moves off the dribble to take his game to the next level.

That said, he does have the potential to take his game to a level beyond where most players can. I think what he does with this offseason is pretty important. If he does make a jump next season that's pretty awesome. If not, I wonder if we don't trade him. If the right deal came along this offseason, I wouldn't fault Kahn if he did trade him.

That is an insanely fun team to watch (along with people like Tolly, Webster, Ellington, etc).

Michael Beasley. When I think about him and his game I keep thinking about Melo and Billups. Both have tremendous amounts of talent but took a while to really round into form. More so Billups than Melo... but Melo was pretty one dimensional his first few years in the league.

We already passed on Billups before he took it to the next level, let's not do the same with SCB.
