Hey guys,
I don't usually post, but I try to keep up with the latest rumblings here on the forums.
I'll be at the Bulls game on the 30th and David Kahn is supposed to swing by the suite I'm in to schmooze and probably pump us up to buy season tickets.
As long as I'm there, what are your more pressing questions? I'd be happy to ask away.
Rubio seems obvious. What else?

hey man awesome!
-His thoughts on Darko, more specifically, in practice has he shown flashes of being better? (i.e. in practice or in drills does he show superior ball handling, shooting or passing?), anything that suggests he could be even better? (I hope so)

Ask him if there's a PG in this draft that he likes more than Rubio. thx.

Ask him if he knows that if Rubio doesn't come next season, he'll is out.

He's not going to answer that.
Ask him if he is still looking for that "singular move" or if he feels he found it already within the current team.

Ask why AR isn't getting more burn to see what we have in him, before the end of the season.

We'll probably get the "He's slowly working back into game shape after not getting much playing time in NY. He's still learning our system." line.
Another question to ask: "Are the playoffs the expectation for next season? (given that there is no lockout)
Basically if he says yes, then I am guessing Taylor has put a bit of an ultimatum on him for next year. If it is more of a canned response of "We are looking to improve and grow with the team, blah blah blah" then I am guessing he is going to stay longer.

Ask him if he still feels like Flynn can be a good PG in this league. Basically, just try to see where he is on Flynn.
Ask him if he's still looking for a center fir next season.

He certainly should be. But the "singular move" comments that he made at the start of the season has disappeared. Either he focused on a small handful of players for the trade deadline and "struckout" in landing a deal, thus him sweeping that comment under the rug, or he thinks he found that player already. Which quite frankly is depressing.
Because it certainly seems by what he has said more recently, that for better or worse, this is the team he is sticking with and is just going to let them succeed or fail as is, barring the draft of course.

He doesn't think he found that player already unless he's (Please Use More Appropriate Word).

What does he think the most important ingredient is for this team to improve on defense?

I think my question will help determine that. I don't think asking "Hey Kahn, are you (Please Use More Appropriate Word)?" will fly over too well.

Ask him if he likes our rotations.
Also ask him to throw our 2011 draft pick and other assets at the Bucks to grab Bogut. He's the only top Center I can think of that could be available.
Or at least ask him if he could entertain to the idea of trading for Bogut if he becomes available. He would help us a lot defensively and would complement well to Love. And that will also answer the question whether he's (Please Use More Appropriate Word) or not.
We need to delete this thread before he reads it.

I think he is going to shoot down any questions pertaining to acquiring specific players from other teams pretty quick. No one in the organization wants to get slapped with tampering charges.
Most of the questions really have to stay team specific, or stay broad and general, otherwise they just say things like "I can't comment on that." or "I'm not allows to discuss that."
I think the most poignant questions to ask are ones that question his own words, personally. The "singular move" "done rebuilding" all of the Darko praise, the Rubio talk, etc. there is enough there to get something other than canned fluff answers.

Can't have Darko and Bogut on the same team. Recipe for disaster.

Tyson Chandler will be an unrestricted free agent and a great fit here, but who knows if he would sign in Minny. Maybe if the team throws enough money his way?

he won't give you anything specific, but ask him what positions we need help at, that'll at least give us an idea what to expect
also very interested to know how likely it is we trade the draft for current NBA help rather than another rook, or if we stay put, how likely we take a PF since arguably 3 of the top 5 players are PFs

Careful about posting on here, dude, apparently someone got ratted out at the latest Kahn Meeting for blabbing about the meeting on CH. Kahn takes no prisoners.
