2011 NBA Draft Lottery Generator

Post#1 » by Torcher » Wed Apr 6, 2011 4:25 am

Yes, it's here again; the link is below.

http://espn.go.com/nba/lottery2011/mockdraft

After rolling a few times, the Wolves ended up with the 4th pick about 5 times, 3rd pick 1 time, and the 1st 2 times. By the way, on one of the rolls, the Houston Rockets, who have a .5% chance of getting the 1st pick, won the lottery.

Have fun.

I remember seeing it up crazy early this year. I want to say before the All-Stars were announced. It was difficult to find on the web page for awhile, but it was there. Now that the season is completely wound down, I'd imagine more frequent updates and a link placement that easier to find.

January 25th at the latest. I found an old comment of mine where I posted that.

I can't find a scenario where we draft Derrick Williams. We draft Irving first, Barnes second, but Williams is never available with the third overall pick, so we always opt for Barnes. Perry Jones is the next pick by default, and our last option is Enes Kanter.

Just like in real life, no matter how many times I try it, the Wolves never get the #1 pick.

I got it 3 times out of 6, but that still doesn't mean it's happening for real.

Earlier I was trying to see who we'd draft third (after Irving and Barnes), but I kept getting stuck with the first and second pick. I didn't think of it as a sign, it was just ******* me off. I knew the odds, but I still went to Wikipedia to see if we we're even eligible for the third pick because I wasn't lucky enough to land it.

I did it 10 times and got 1, 4 (jones), 2(barnes), 1, 1, 3(williams), 1, 4, 2, 4. The only team I saw not taking Irving 1st was the Wiz. They went with Williams.
