Sounds like there's a strong likelihood that Rambis will be gone and a defensive minded coach will be brought in.

Can you give us a recap?

Kahn said he thinks talent here is better. Thinks team has poor chemistry though, especially on the defensive end. Said the status quo is not acceptable. Mum on Rambis. Biggest desire is to improve team defense and add veteran leadership. Though, said team is done overhauling and from now on will only be tweaking.
Rambis seems like a gonner.

Here's a recap from Canis Hoopus:
RECAP!!!
Rambis you suck and it’s your fault but you did develop KLove and Beasley a bit.
We got length so we’re fine.
He thought we’d be a 16 win team and is shocked we won 17.
Our roster is pretty awesome, who doesn’t want this roster?
I’m sure I missed something but that’s what I got our of it.

-No comment on coaching situation.
-Isn't worried about our offense but defensively we need a lot of work.
-Kahn & Rubio are still where they were at when they met in Turkey. We had a season to play, he had a season to play.
-Will be talking with Glen Taylor about what needs to be done so we don't have another losing season.
-We will be bringing in some vets this off-season.
-Does Flynn have a future here? "I don't know"
-Beasley said he's never looked more forward to an off-season so he can work on different parts of his game & improve.
-Said Darko needs to play a lot of basketball this summer.
Made some promises, avoided some stuff like the draft, some Rubio questions.

Can we please just get rid of Kahn? Please? Was Taylor at the presser or was Kahn going solo?
Does anyone believe Kahn is a good talent evaluator? I have a little hope because of Rozone but as long as Kahn is the man in charge, I don't think we'll turn this around.
As far as getting a new coach. Will we be forced to promote Lambier and get an assistant not sought by other teams? Why would a coach with options come here if the man who hires him might be gone if we have another down year?

To elude to the fact that we don't have a major problem offensively is a mistake. Our offense is really inefficient and needs to be addressed just as much as our defense.
I'm sick of all the Triangle talk. We don't really run it at all. In fact, from what I have seen, we don't run anything consistently. It almost seems free-lanced. I see a few times per game in which we have specific plays that incorporate decent ball movement, or some half-assed pick and roll. But most of the time it really seems like Rambis just told them "Do whatever."
I want Rambis gone. I wanted him gone last year, but said I would give him this season to prove himself. He didn't. He is pretty much what I thought he was last year.
With that said, I think he will be back, only to get canned some point mid-season.

Also, he doesn't buy into the "free agents won't want to come to Minnesota" myth because Travis Outlaw was interested in coming here.

I think the offense looks free-lanced because it sounds like it's up to the players to make a decision based on what the defense is doing. Most sets start out the same, but then a player has option A,B, or C based on the defense. This works fine if you have a veteran team with a star (Lakers, Bulls) but not if you have a bunch of young players. It just isn't the right offensive system for the Wolves.

Yikes.
Funny think about saying the offense is fine but the defense needs work; if we get a new coach the offense will change too. Therefore, he's probably saying the offensive skills of the roster are fine, ie. I did my job, it's that other schlub who failed.
Somebody sign us some Rick Adelman!

Love: Kahn is not worried he will stay, after doing the "heavy lifting" to get the organization moving forward. He said that Love has said this to the media as well.
Beasley: His future is at the 3, but he provides flexibility. He may have some 4's he can guard, and some he can't, but his length will have teams have to adjust to us sometimes, instead of us just adjusting to them. He also said he's very popular in the clubhouse, and people gravitate to him. Finally, he added that Beas has said this is the most he's looked forward to an off-season, to work on his game.
Darko: Darko is still part of the future, but he came in very out of shape. In the past, his summer conditioning was jogging through the woods near his home in Serbia, but this summer will be a more extensive regimen.
Flynn: Still questions about him. In hindsight, he wishes he hadn't brought him back so early. Jonny wanted to play, and he and Rambis had mended fences, but bringing him back early may have messed things up.
Anthony Randolph: Very pleased with him, and though he has a lot of work to do, especially gaining strength, he's better than he expected.
Vets: He mentioned that without Brian Cardinal, Ryan Gomes, etc, the Wolves needed help in the locker room, but he felt that he needed to improve their positions on the court. It sounds like he will be more open to adding vets next year.

Kahn has made three poor decisions in my mind. Hiring Rambis after the draft. Drafting Jonny Flynn. (to think, we could, no SHOULD have, come out of that Draft with Rubio, Derozan, and Lawson). Drafting Wes Johnson. Rambis and Flynn are on Kahn, but with Johnson I'm not so sure how much final say Kahn had.
Kahn has made three good decisions in my mind. Acquiring Beasley for basically nothing. Acquiring Randolph for basically nothing. Drafting Rubio. All were pretty much no-braniners, but Kahn made some smart moves that put us in a position to make those no-brainer decisions, such as the Wizards trade and acquiring cap space.
Kahn has had little luck. Injuries have hindered the progress development of some of the young players he acquired. He wasn't able to move up in the draft either year.
In conclusion, I'm still willing to cut Kahn some slack. I think something has to give though since the coach doesn't mesh with the talent that's been assembled. Either Rambis has to go (most likely), or a new GM has to come in and overhaul the roster again (in which case he'd probably hire his own coach anyway).

Who else would have final say?
