Potential Lineup

Post#1 » by dukeknicksirish » Sat Apr 16, 2011 12:56 am

With winning the NBA Draft, and selecting Kyrie Irving;
Signing one of these 6 available SG
-Jamal Crawford(pay big)
-Nick Young(pay big)
-Leandro Barbosa
-Kelena Azebuike
-James Jones
-Michael Redd
Signing one of these C
-Nazr Mohammed(pay big)
-Chris Wilcox
-Yoa Ming
-Greg Oden
-Nenad Kristic

5.(C)/Milicic/Pekovic
4.Love/Tolliver
3.Beasley/Randolph
2.(SG)/ Johnson/Webster
1.Irving/Ridnour/Ellington

Spending BIG will be the best way to bring this team into playoff contention...

I'd rather save our cap space than spend big on any of those guys.

If we can get Oden on a low-risk deal(not likely) I'd be interested, otherwise I think we should try to bring in a better SG via trade.

Those are all terrible except for Oden. And he's a major risk who I might take a shot on, but only up to a reasonable amount and length of contract.

Trade Love for a, at minimum, star+ sg. Slide Wes and Beas over to their natural spots. The sg must be a good/great defender...must.

It would be funny to see the media buzz if Kahn signed Kwame for 4 years 24 mil.
He's actually better than Darko, though.

I don't know. He'd need some tire chains for his wheelchair wheels.

It's going to be a struggle for him to even get back on the court, let alone form a great duo.

Twolves should sign Marco Belinelli ( RFA )

at worst: a cheap spotup shooter
at best: an avarege defending guard with a good attack skills
at excellet: Manu Ginobili.

i'm italian and i saw him every single night, he has the potential to be this kind of player. His only problem is that in 4 years NBA just Monty Williams ( COY ) trusted him!

Screw Nick Young for that kind of many. No more gambles on young inconsistent players.

Marco Belinelli has never shown anything that would indicate towards developing into Manu Ginobili.
And even if he becomes his best case scenario an average defending guard with good attacking skills he's not very valueable for Minnesota.
That's not what we need. We need defense. :dontknow:
Your opinion about him is clearly biased.

Seriously? And why is Chris Wilcox even mentioned with these guys? None of them are stars but...I mean, if I was Nenad Krstic, I would be insulted by this list.

Maybe you are right, but Belinelli is 25, Manu at that age was in the italian league...

TWolves are bringing Rubio over next season arent they?

If they get the #1 pick id grab that Arizona PF Williams I think his name is, that guy can ball and then you can use Beasley or Randolph as a trade chip with ur cap space for a better center or 2guard.

Say Dallas blow it up after this season you could look at Tyson Chandler for Cash and maybe package Beasley and future first for DeRozan or something?

Chandler / Mili
Love / Randolph
#1 pick Williams / Randolph
DeRozan / Webster
Rubio / Flynn / Ridnour

That team would tear **** up!!! ... With a better coach haha

Not really a fan of Derozan or Derrick Williams...I think best case scenario we use our pick to get Bogut or just take Biyombo as a center, then sign a vet to help him along(or sign Greg Oden and pray) and then grab Alec Burks with the memphis pick. and get whatever we can for Flynn.

No chance that Burks is available at #20.

Do you really see the youngest team in the NBA adding 2 draft picks and Rubio? If so, I think your in for a disappointment. I doubt the Bucks move Bogut.
