4/21/11: Press Conference @ 2pm

Read this announcement off of Facebook.

The Wolves will host a press conference at 2 PM tomorrow afternoon. NBA to make a major award announcement and www.timberwolves.com will stream the live video.

Love with the MIP award would be my guess.

MVP, MIP, ROY, and 6th Man of the Year. He would have won the DPOY, but he felt humble a few days ago and let Howard win it.

When I read that title I was like: "Yes, they're going to fire Rambis!" Now, I'm kinda sad although Kevin Love getting that MIP is great and he deserves it. :lol:

I too was really hoping for "Rambis fired; Taylor funds project to re-animate Auerbach, promoted to head coach and GM" big letdown.

It would be too perfect for Love to get MIP and Rambis to get fired during the same presser. The organization is obviously far from perfect, thus we do not get our wish.

I love the fact that I was not the only one who was hoping for a "Rambis is gone" presser.

I wonder sometimes if half the posters on the gb even watch basketball.

Anyway, congrats Kevlar. It is definitely deserved. and, yeah, I too was expecting a Rambis fired presser when I opened the thread.

I think almost anyone seeing that thread title without prior knowledge had to be thinking a Rambis firing presser lol, I know I was.

Hopefully the guys who stick around for next year put in the work this offseason to get better and they can get on the short list for "most improved"....I'm looking at you Wesley.

Maybe even more impressive, KLove is no. 1 in the NBA in Wins Produced. Next for the Wolves? Ridnour at no. 95. After that? Tolliver is 232.
