offer #2

Minnesota Trades: jonny flynn, wesley Johnson, Anthony Randolph

Denver Trades:Danilo Gallinari, Raymond Felton,

offer #1

Minnesota trades:Flynn, 2011 20th 1st rd pick

Denver Trades: Felton

Why: Well you guys get a starting veteran pg who can show the ropes to rubio if he decides to come to the nba. I can vouch for felton, that that he plays hard every night and is just scrappy, never gives up and if given consistent minutes is capaple of putting up big numbers and making teamates better. So why do i want to get rid of this great pg,well we have ty lawson and hes our future pg, and flynn i think would compliment him well off the bench.

I think you have most people here sold at the words Flynn offer.

Absolutely no question that I'd do this.

To make things simple for you, Flynn is a terrible basketball player at the moment. I don't know whether the injury, our system, or his lack of confidence hampered him. Most likely all of the above.

However, I do think Jonny would flourish much more with the style of play the Nuggets have going, than with our system. (Much like how Lawson suceeded)

Forget about Flynn, I wouldn't give up a #1 draft pick for Felton.

I'm actually hoping we get Nolan Smith with the 20th pick to back up Rubio and trade Flynn & Luke for whatever. Coincidentally, methinks Smith is this years Ty Lawson (as in significantly under appreciated PG prospect.) Did I mention that I'm really fond of Smith and that I think he's this years Ty Lawson?

I would pass. With Rubio and Ridnour I think the point is more or less set, at least for the short term.

If Rubio is here, he don't have a great use for Felton.

Perhaps you can send Felton to a third team, and send us spoils > Flynn + #20?

Yep. If Flynn + 20 are enough to get Felton, I'd just trade those 2 assets (maybe with additional assets) for a solid veteran at SG/C.

Assuming we don't get Irving, I'd be happy to take Felton and move Ridnour.

I don't think Denver would ever actually offer that, so I'm taking it for granted that we can't get solid veterans at SG/C for that. I guess it depends on what you mean by solid, though. I'm seeing this as us trading a player who will probably be out of the league in a couple years (Flynn) and a player who is very likely to be out of the league in a couple years (#20) for a player who will still be playing in a couple years. This is just robbery, regardless of fit. Unless, of course, you love Nolan Smith. :D

I'm pretty sure he's a one year rental, but we're really not losing a lot in that trade. I'd put that trade on hold, and see if we can move Flynn and #20 for a different package first.

well felton was a borderline all star this year and he is still 26. a major upgrade compared to ridnour.

Better question. What would it take to get Afflalo in a sign and trade?

Gallo+Afflalo?

Flynn/20 for Felton seems like good value to me, but I'd be disappointed if that was the only big trade. Now if they trade Flynn/20 for Felton and then use Rubio to get Bogut or something like that, I can definitely get on board w/ some big moves like that.

^ Is Afflalo resigned with us, and for how much? (I don't really know his deal structure, is he QO next season?) Also, can I sub in #20 for Randolph?

Well, I definitely would do Flynn + 20 for Felton, but I'm not sure I would do Johnson for Afflalo.

Yeah. When Steve Nash didn't get invited, he was really worried that Ray freakin Felton was going to get the nod ahead of him.
