Where would Flynn Fit?

Clearly, this isn't the system for Jonny Flynn, and even if it was, he'd never get the minutes next year to do anything.

I'm wondering what teams run a system that Jonny might do better in?

Let's not even worry about personnel right now, like whether they have the position covered. I'm just interested in system, and a place that at least does something where Jonny might be actually fit.

doesn't Denver had Lawson and Felton already? not sure he'd find PT muchless be a good fit

In my mind, Flynn needs to either play with a bigger guard who can run the offense or just come off the bench and be Jason Terry/Ben Gordon to be effective. Flynn only needs to have the ball when he's in the process of trying to score, all other situations seem to result in TO's.

he could come off the bench just about anywhere without a couple good PGs: Dallas, Denver, Phoenix, Houston or Clevelend (of all places to have PG depth!?) seem set already

Pistons - Stuckey does most of the handling and creating.
Lakers - Fisher is old, PG's responsibility is mostly to get Kobe the ball in LA
Kings - same as Stuckey but with Tyreke
Heat - Lebron and Wade do most of the work. playing with 2 HOF'ers and an all-star would make things easy for him.

Knicks would be a really nice place for him. 17th pick for Flynn+future 2nd seems like a good deal doesn't it?

Don't the Knicks have Chauncey and Tooney?

Not regarding players. Just systems or teams...

Golden State
Denver
Suns
Heat

wow... I need to sleep more than a few hours every couple of days, i'm sorry

I'm going to stick with the Heat suggestion and throw out Orlando as long as they have Dwight. He can hide on defense and has Turk to run the offense.

Any deal netting us a 1st rounder for Flynn is a great deal for us. Whether the other team agreed to that or not, is another story.

the system causes Jonny to not be able to score, dribble or play defense. Bad system, bad

I'd think the Suns or Knicks. The Heat already have ball-handlers in LBJ and Wade, Ridnour would fit better there b/c he can hit the 3 more consistently. Again the Knicks might be good b/c Billups is old and Flynn can serve as a suitable back-up.

What would it take for the Lakers to get him? A future 1st Round Pick? What changed between his rookie and sophmore seasons? Didn't you guys run the triangle both seasons? I think he would be a great option for the Lakers since they need some youth, speed, and athleticism from the PG spot.

If we can't land Iguodala, I would like to include Flynn in a deal that brings Stuckey back to Minnesota.

The triangle needs their guards to hit jumpshots.

Something Flynn cannot do for some reason.

Flynn is not a bad shooter per se, his problem is shot selection.

He'd fit nice here in Orlando and we would offer Nelson and Orton with the rights to Fran (Rubio teammate) for Flynn
