Since it's out there, Kahn offers what for Nash

Being that Kahn has an unhealthy obsession with Nash I am wondering what you think he will offer.

Even with the alleged obsession, I'm fairly sure he won't be trading the #2 pick.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

Kahn believes that Nash can help release Rubios inner point guard. Rubio also has an unhealthy fascination with Nash.

Well there's no doubt Nash would be an awesome mentor for Rubio but Kahn isn't going to sell the farm for a 37 year old PG.

We already have the perfect backup PG for Rubio in Ridnour (GREAT Backup, overmatched as a starter). I want Ridnour to teach Rubio those scoop layups he is so effective with (but not to shoot 3's 8 seconds into the shot clock).

I think the Nash "rumors" were more about Taylor's need to put butts in the seats (Which Ricky should do unless Rambis is brought back and gives him the Wes Johnson treatment).

Who also, given that he'd had to leave the awesome Suns' medical staff, might not keep up the level of play that he's been playing in the last few years.

I say something like this and draft Williams with the #2. Wolves got Beasley with a 2'nd rounder and Flynn doesn't seem to be setting the world on fire. I expect this is the offer Kahn makes.

Nash (PG) + Warrick (PF) + M.Pietrus (SG/SF)

for

A.Randolph (PF/C) + Beasley (SF/PF) + Flynn OR Ridnour (PG)

:-)

Ew.
Counter:
#2, #20, Flynn, Pekovic, Ellington, Hayward, Tolliver for Nash, Gortat, #13

That's not good for the Wolves. At most Randolph + Flynn.

Randolph should be a guy we want to hold onto.

I counter your counter:

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=66xj5zg
Nash/Lopez/#13 for Flynn/Randolph/Pekovic/#2/#20

Interesting. Wonder if they'd trade the 2 for Nash and something else to mentor Rubio with.

Agreed. He is the last player on the roster I would want to trade.

Sure. #2 for Nash and #3. You go ahead and work out how you're going to get #3 and then get back to us.

Nash is my favorite player but I'd rather draft D-Will or do one of the Bogut deals.

Nash isn't worth giving up significant assets.

I would throw myself under a bus if we traded the #2 pick for Nash.
