If Wolves Draft Williams and if he is a SF then

would you consider trading W Johnson and Beasley for Varejao from Cleveland? I heard that if Cleveland drafts Kanter with their 4th pick then Varejao might be available. Also I have heard that the experiment with Johnson playing SG did not work and that he needs to play SF.

If we feel he needs to play SF then he will do it here.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

I would entertain Beasley and filler for Fraggle Rock but not both. The ideal spot for Johnson is SF, but I could see him or Williams as a 6th man.

This is dependant on Williams showing some serious potential during workouts. Beasley can also score in several different ways...williams was more efficient during college, but I don't think he has a higher ceiling.

We need to use the #2 to help us get the best wing player possible.

Beasleys value has to be one of the most underrated on these boards. The far and away best offer I've seen for him since we got him is the 9th pick and I wouldn't do that.

I think he must have forgot to include the 4 pick?

Its 100 percent we would trade both of them for AV, but I'm not sure I would do either. From a value standpoint they are still younger, haven't had any injury history (one hurt year for AV doesn't seem fair, but it happened) and are on cheaper deals right now. From a talent standpoint, I'd say each has the potential to be a better scorer than AV is a defender. Just not sure how much I like Varejao as a starter either.

No thanks.

AV is not a long term fix. Probably is a good backup C in years to come, with a bad injur history and his contract is twice Pek's. In the other hand Beas and Wes has his prime in the next five years and has rookie contracts. This is a no brainer.
