would you guys trade beasley?
since it looks like you guys might draft williams would you guys consider beasley tradeable. the nuggets are looking for a young pf and beasley could fill that hole. what would it take for us to get him. im thinking of a trade revolving around felton and some other pieces but idk, what do you guys think.

No Felton.
I like Afflalo's improvement from last season, so i'd want Afflalo if we trade Beasley

We tend to value Beasley more than other teams because, although being a dolt sometimes he's shown some significant flashes and has more upside than anyone on our roster.

This.
Also, I want Ty Lawson back. I want him back. I really do.

Re: would you guys trade beasley?
I would definitely trade him if a good package was offered.
Don't necessarily expect that to be the case, though.

I'd love to trade Beasley. Not for Felton though. We need a SG or a C.

Re: would you guys trade beasley?
I'd trade Beas, but I think most Wolf fans (including me) have a rather high asking price.
I'd want Afflalo and a C (Nene would be awesome, but that's highly unlikely)
Afflalo and Birdman for Beasley and 20 ?
I'd give up anyone not named Love/Rubio for Nene, but like I said. Highly unlikely.

To the OP - I think the Wolves would consider moving Beasley for financial reasons.
Adding Anthony Randolph means that in 2012, they need to find the money to give new contracts to Randolph, Love and Beasley.
I've wondered about a Beasley-to-DEN trade myself. If you ask Beasley who he tries to pattern his game after, he'll say Melo. He can get his own shot off, and averaged 19 PPG, but he has a lot to learn defensively to cash in on his physical skills if he ever wants to be a Melo.

Re: would you guys trade beasley?
Ignoring the Beasley/Williams situation because I do not see us interested in Williams (and he is a 4).
If Snipes is our priority (and he fits better than Rubio, with greater defensive potential) then moving Beasley so we can establish him as his natural 3 should be a priority.
Arron Afflalo would be our priority. S/t straight up?

Re: would you guys trade beasley?
The only way that I see us trading Beasley is if we think that we can get more back in a trade involving him than in a trade involving Williams. To me, at the moment, Williams and Beasley are very similar players, but Beasley is more capable of playing the 3, thus making him more valuable to us.

I love Beeee-ez. I dont think hes a bad guy, and still think he has tremendous potential as a player. I think he needs to focus a bit more, he has alot of "energy" in his personality that I pick up on. I think he needs to take the Ron Artest route and start visiting a shrink, I think itd do wonders for him.

I wonder if you guys are overvaluing Afflalo.

Afflalo seems like a nice compliment to put next to Beasley.

But he's a better complement...
I see similarities between a Afflalo/Beasley wing combo and a Sefolosha/Durant wing combo.

Re: would you guys trade beasley?
I don't think we get Afflalo from Denver without sending Beas. Wes isn't going to get us AAA.
Denver is so deep right now it's just silly to think about trading with them. What do they need, other than a superstar?
But otherwise let's send Wes, Darko and Love for Nene and AAA and then draft Derrick Williams.
Rubio/Ridnour
AAA/Webster
Beasley/Webster
Randolph/Williams
Nene/Tolly/Pek

Re: would you guys trade beasley?
as soon as we trade Webster and Wes we'll be sorely missing a spot up shooter that can't create off the dribble. At that point we can open up the floodgates on the Afflalo trades

Re: would you guys trade beasley?
Wow you guys are really overating Afflalo. I'd compare him to Ariza when he was with the Lakers. Nice complimentary player, but don't expect to expand his role and see nice results.
