Beasley and Webster for Iguodala and Speights.
(If Irving slips to #2) Trade #2 (and filler -- ie. Milicic, Pekovic, Flynn) to LAL for Gasol.
2011-12 T-Wolves:
PG - Rubio - Ridnour
SG - Iguodala - Ellington
C - Gasol - Speights
PF - Love - Randolph
SF - Johnson - ???
Nice squad there ... a little soft in the interior but still playoff worthy.

Re: Beasley for Iguodala
I would do the Iggy trade (but I don't know that Philly does). I wouldn't do that Gasol trade; I'd rather go for Marc Gasol.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

I bet the Sixers would decline that trade.
I would decline the 2nd trade. Rather go after Bogut, the other Gasol or even Bynum.

Re: Beasley for Iguodala
Sixers wouldn't do the first deal. They wouldn't want Webster, and would rather have Johnson over Beasley (which is good for us, since we'd probably rather have Beasley over Johnson).
Wolves wouldn't do the 2nd deal. Gasol isn't a C, and we'd have no use for a 30 year old PF, especially if we're giving up the best prospect in the draft.

Right. Wes has rookie contract for several years and that is what philly is looking for.

First deal gives PHI a $4+ mil TPE too.
I think they decline as well. Strangely though, I'm starting to question trading Beasley.
The one thing we most need on this team is a superstar. Where's it going to come from? Beasley and AR look to me to be the only two players on the team that even have a chance.
Beasley for AI looks like a no-brainer for us. However, we need players with high upside, and then we need to cross our fingers. That's exactly what Beasley is.

Re: Beasley for Iguodala
As the 76ers have found out over and over again since the 2004 draft. Playing Iggy at SG vs playing him at SF makes a huge difference in the success of his teams and especially how their offenses perform.
Now the 76ers had a good deal of team success with a spot up shooter/scorer who has borderline NBA talent last season by pairing Jodie Meeks with Andre Igoudala. Getting Iggy here to play with two superior talents with the same skill sets in Wesley Johnson and Martell Webster would be great for the Wolves. It makes even more sense if they retain Rambis as they'd actually have a wing player who makes sense in the triangle.
Putting Iggy next to Beasley doesn't make any sense unless they're trading for Bynum or Bogut with Iggy at SF and Beasley at PF.

Re: Beasley for Iguodala
Minnesota SHOULD rather have Bogut or Marc Gasol or name that next great center, but beggars can't be choosey now, can they?
Pau Gasol is far and away the best center they could get with the #2 pick. He's costly, but think of the chemistry he'd have with Rubio and Love. Throw in a couple of athletic, defensive wings and you've got the makings of a very, very strong team with great chemistry and balance.
Beasley's best defensive position is PF. With Love already here, I just don't see him manning that SF slot for the future, he's just too much of a liability. He can play some SF with the proper defensive matchup, but I wouldn't subject one of my best players to playing a position that on any given night could literally swallow him up ... and him and Love shouldn't play together as PF and C, that's a bad look too.
Now Beasley could play PF alongside Elton Brand (at C) all day. Thus, the reason Phila might at least consider it.
