It's a scam. Fran Vazquez has a millionaire offer without taxes from Panathinaikos.

I think this would help both teams Fran helps Rubio come over and gives us beasley who will play better with someone like Dwight around him...and Fran is about as good as kanter this is just a weak draft...now Fran is older but Fran is prolly more NBA ready...so basically getting Fran is like a 2 for 1 deal

He has an offer but hasn't accepted it I'm pretty sure he's waiting for the new cba

Yep, anyway it's a scam. Vazquez x Jonny Flynn is fairer.

I think the chance Vazquez is coming to Orlando is virtually nil.
Everything I heard is that he is a small-town guy who was scared of the culture shock of the NBA lifestyle and America, and has been very happy back in Europe. His agent mentioned the NBA to get a better offer from his Euro team.
His chances of coming to MIN are only slightly better than coming to Orlando, but with Rubio here, they do exist.
The offer that some Wolves fans, and many neutral fans on the trade board, agree with is Vazquez for the #20. 19 PPG Beasley or the #2 pick is preposterous. If you don't believe me, I dare you to post your trade on the Trade Board.

He came out of his little town, Chantada, at 17. He was drafted with 21 and now he is 28.
BTW, Metropolitan Barcelona has five millions and he has a offer from Athens (four millions of crazy Athenians).
This isn't a problem.,
BTW, curiously the president of the BBVA Bank, NBA official sponsor, is from Chantada too.

Chantada is a important NBa town

Don't focus on the size of the cities, but on the culture shock of Vazquez joining the NBA at 28. At least in MIN, he'd have a countryman he knows, but it's still a longshot.
I haven't followed Vazquez euro-deals in the last couple of months, but from what I read about his agent two months ago, I don't even expect him to go to Greece, but he'd prefer to stay in Spain for a lesser offer. What I heard was that he was the kind of guy who wants to be comfortable where he's playing. Have you heard differently?

I didn't heard nothing of nothing ,maybe due he hasn't said nothing of nothing. I only know he ends his contract 30 June. He is from Galicia, like me, and nobody knows wtf a Galician is going to do. At least, the other Spaniards say this about us.

As much as Beasly is capable of frustrating you, his value as a young player is well beyond the risk of a 28-year-old Vazquez. I would love to have the guy, but you don't give up Beasley for what amounts to basically a 10% chance at a guy who's approaching 30 and isn't Lebron.
I agree with Shrink in that maybe the #20 pick is fair, but even at that I would want to have a few conversations with the guy first.

Personally I don't think Vazquez is anything but a backup in the NBA. I don't get why people are infatuated with him.
Remember how everyone was in love with Splitter last year? Vazquez isn't as good as Splitter.

I'd throw in the rights to Henk just to sweeten that deal.
