That is a definite play-off team with all-stars/border-line all-stars at every position (except for Rubio perhaps). But then again it could be stuck in mediocrity for awhile too. Who says no, things that should be altered/suggestions?

That would be great for the Wolves but I don't think any of the other teams would accept those offers.

I don't think that the value is way off though. Probably Indiana would want more, but the other two teams aren't doing badly.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

I agree. Take out them giving the 15, and send them the 16 (we'd have to buy a 30 to avoid the Stepien rule) and I think all three could be acquired.
Financially, it's a one-way ticket, and very few teams without a defined superstar ever win the title. But those are a lot of very good players right there

Put in an MLE player, and a vet-min guy or two, and that looks like a play-off team to me. It'd at least be a lot more fun to go watch for fans, and I'd enjoy seeing a couple LAC posters cry as they had to admit the MIN future 1st wasn't going to be Derrick Rose or Blake Griffin.

I don't think the 76ers are going to want four questionable assets for Iggy and they surely aren't going to give up a pick while doing so.
I don't think Indy would want any of those pieces nevermind giving up an allstar in his prime for them.
The Bogut deal seams unlikely because #1 they would've paid Ridnour to keep him when they had Bogut and thought they were heading upwards and i'm assuming they're going to insist on a team eating one or two of Gooden, Maggette, Salmons contracts to get him. I don't really see the point of trading him unless they can clear some of those deals.

Re: Going for Broke.
Looks very good on paper but gutting the entire team for somewhat injury-prone 2nd fiddle players is a bit risky to me. If it was only one of them I'd roll the dice but gutting the entire team, that I'd rather give another season with a better coaching staff, is a bit too risky for me.

If we're "going for broke", I'd rather do the "Nash/Gortat for #2 and a bunch of other stuff, then Iggy for Wes" idea that was proposed in another thread. Nash/Iggy/Beas/Love/Gortat with some combination of Ricky/Ellington/Web/AR or AT off the bench.

I'd be in favor of that but I thought it had been brought up and didn't get favorable reviews. I'm not sure PHX would accept it is probably what happened.

probably don't even need the Beasley/Granger part. More realistic financially too.

Wow that's highly creative, but I think Ind and Phi decline pretty easily.

Re: Going for Broke.
Thanks for the replies. To the original trade we could send the #16 to Indiana instead and have them keep their pick or just have them keep their pick.
Two trade ideas before I post one to the main board:
MN out: #2, Johnson, MIlicic, Ridnour, Flynn, Webster, Utah 1st
MN in: Nash, Iguodala, Gortat
PHX out: Iguodala
PHX in: Johnson, Milicic, Utah 1st
PHX out: Nash, Gortat
PHX in: #2, Ridnour, Flynn, Webster, Pekovic
This is similar to one already posted so I'm not sure I can do this one.
MN out: #2, Johnson, Milicic, Pekovic, Ridnour, Flynn, Utah 1st
MN in: Bogut, Iguodala
MIL out: Bogut
MIL in: #2, Pekovic, Ridnour, Utah 1st
PHI out: Iguodala
PHI in: Johnson, Milicic, Flynn
Rubio/
Iguodala/Webster
Beasley/Webster
Love/Randolph
Bogut/Tolliver
Should be a much-improved team defensively and win-wise. Thoughts or suggestions!?
