I strongly believe with all of the t-wolves issues at which player to draft and what the team needs for the future really depends on how wesley johnson improves his game from year one to year two. i really hopes he becomes our demar derozan and some!..
Seems like B-easy is loved by the team and david khan and with kanter workout today he may be the pick.
Wes has all the tools to become a soild nba wing.
I hope hes in the gym now working on that ball handing of his and really believeing that he can make a difference on this team rather then being a role player
what do u guys think?

Re: wes johnson
If he can improve his ball handling, and get more confidence and determination to win he could be an all-star. His jumper is insane, he can finish at the rim, and plays good defense. When I watched him this season warming up before games he could not miss a single shot. Now I know this is just warm ups, but every game I've gone to he just couldn't miss. I hope working out with Kobe this off-season really helps his game.

Is he working out with Kobe this off-season?
If he can improve his ball-handling and confidence it'll do wonders for himself and the team.

Re: wes johnson
This is a little left field but I am playing my player in NBA 2K11 and the insider guy just told me I will be going up against Wes Johnson. He said "Johnson has a tendency to disappear." He told me to get up in his face for a little bit and I will take away his confidence. If I take away his confidence I will take away his game. Strikingly accurate lol.

Re: wes johnson
I really like him. I think Rambis treated him the same way he did Love and hopefully Wes responds the same way Love did. His defense showed to be pretty impressive considering he came from Syracuse playing zone. I'd like to see us be more aggresive on d, which could happen with some more athletes and Rubio. Get deflections/steals and get out onto the break to see what Wes can do, I think I could count his dunks on one hand.
He like everyone else, still needs a handle. Once he develops a handle, he will be a really good player. He's got a craftiness to his passing in the lane, and he's got a beautiful stroke. Coming off of screens he could be a Ray Allen/Rip type once he gets more used to it. I've come back around on Wes after being down on him at the end of the year.

I think Wes could've came in and contributed as expected for any team that had plenty of minutes for him at SF.
Because he was being asked to change his game for this team and the NBA level, I think he disappointed many. Changing from what you did in College to what could make you great in the NBA can take some time. This season can be a big indicator of how hard he is willing to work, change, and improve toward being a legit SG.
I think Wes is still in that Larval/Cocoon stage. Let's give him another year to turn into a Butterfly.
