For now, these are who we come out of the draft with. Thoughts?

I like it. Would've liked more to come out with a proven vet player but Derrick Williams will be an exciting player. Lee is also a solid pick.

Has anyone been able to follow all these trades? What did we get? Any picks left this year? Did we move Bogdanovic to NJ? Crazy night. Very happy with Williams and Lee though. I guess Kahn has been doing some talking here saying that neither Beasley, Love, nor Williams will be moved. Could have some crazy lineups.

For the record, I really like Lee. I think he'll be better than Ellington and can be a 3rd PG as well.

We don't have anymore picks. We sold Bogdanovic to NJ. We have Memphis' 2013 1st rounder(lotto protocted) and 2 future 2nds, one from NJ, and not sure on the other..

I really wanted Brooks, was upset. I'm glad we were able to get Lee. Kahn just spoke and said we won't trade Beasley & that he even said Williams, Beasley, and Love can all play together.

Yeah they can rotate them through the 3/4 minutes OK but I wouldn't want Love spending more than the odd couple of minutes at the 5

We shut off the draft right after the 21st pick. I'm replaying it right now.

Do we look smart, or like idiots?

I'm kinda curious what exactly the plan is here w/ the 3 headed mediocre center monster and the stacks of forwards, but I'm intrigued by Lee.

I'm assuming they're still going to be looking at some big trades though so I'm not going to get married to this roster quite yet

From commish_guy via Roob Chat

Jonny Flynn and the #20 (Donatas Motiejunas) for #23 (Nikola Mirotic), Brad Miller, and a future #1 from Houston

#23 (Nikola Mirotic) for #28 (Norris Cole) and #43 (Malcolm Lee)

#28 (Norris Cole) for #31 (Bojan Bogdanovic), a future 2nd rounder, and cash considerations

#31 (Bojan Bogdanovic) for Future 2nd round pick and cash considerations from NJ

So the trade was basically:
Jonny Flynn
#1(20) Donatas Motiejunas

for

Brad Miller
#2(43) Malcolm Lee
Future #1 (Houston)
Future #2 (Miami)
Future #2 (NJ)
Cash Considerations from Miami
Cash Considerations from NJ

I am kinda stoked about Brad Miller hopefully sticking around to teach Kevin Love his patented slow drive to the hoop move.

Kahn said that he's focused on getting vets via free agency. No trades were good enough I guess.

Hopefully they'll push hard for Shane Battier.

Only deal I was disappointed in is the selling of #31 for a future second and cash.

I would have liked to held his rights, but I understand why they made the trade. Still, the first pick in the second round can be great with an euro stash or player to be brought over and I like Bogdanovic and thought he would have been a nice fit.

Otherwise, just waiting for whatever "real" vet trade we make as Brad Miller isn't the final vet I see us bringing in.
