MN out: Webster, Ridnour, Pekovic, Miller, Tolliver, Utah 1st, Memphis 1st
MN in: DeRozan, Calderon, $9.3 million cap-space

Minnesota sheds bench players and role-players for DeRozan and cap-space to use on Gasol/another C.

CLE out: LeBron TPE
CLE in: Webster, Miller, Tolliver, Memphis 1st

Cleveland makes use of it's TPE to nab a pick used for its rebuilding.

TOR out: DeRozan, Calderon, Bosh TPE
TOR in: Pekovic, Ridnour, Randolph, Ellington, Utah 1st

Toronto sheds Calderon but loses DeRozan, not sure if they would do this, maybe switch Pekovic with Miller for savings?

That would leave us with this line-up (hopefully):

Rubio(30)/Calderon(18)
DeRozan(28)/Johnson(20)
Beasley(30)/Williams(12)/Johnson(6)
Love(35)/Williams(13)
Gasol(28)/Milicic(20)

If we trade Randolph that will open up back-up 4 minutes for Williams and more back-up 3 minutes for Wes.

30 minutes a game for Beasley doesn't work. His 36per numbers are excellent. Feed him minutes

It is going to take a hell of a lot more than that for Toronto to give up Derozan.

I thought might be the case. Beasley could be switched for Randolph. Williams takes over at 3.

Rubio(30)/Calderon18)
DeRozan(32)/Johnson(16)
Williams(32)/Johnson(16)
Love(35)/Randolph(13)
Gasol(28)/Milicic(20)

Still worth it IMO.

I would try and work the deal without DeRozan, he is basically untouchable in Toronto.

Good try. If the centerpiece of a deal gets taken out that deal is automatically dead. :D

They really aren't. He is one of the least efficient high volume scorers in the entire league and unlike the valuable inefficient volume scorers like Stephen Jackson, Jamal Crawford, Joe Johnson, etc Beasley doesn't provide above average ball handling and shot creation for others or above average defense or rebounding.

Beasley is either on fire and scoring 25+ or he is hurting his team, when he plays average he is a wash vs what he gives up at best and when he plays poorly (which is his most common level of play) he kills his own team.

I took it as no deal with Toronto at all, which is fine. LeBrons TPE can absorb Webster, Miller, & Pekovic (~$13.5 mil). We'd have to throw in something like the Memphis 1st. The ESPN trade machine says we have $3.7 mil, add the $13.5 and we'd have roughly $17.2 mil. That is without Rubio/Williams I believe but should be plenty to nab a top free agent this summer.

lol like the other poster mentioned, DeRozan is untouchable in Toronto.
Kinda like asking for Lebron in Miami, not gonna happen.
