Nene either stays in Denver or goes to a contender.

The trade thins out the fowards and fixes one of our biggest holes, but then it creates a similar hole at the SG spot. Honestly, I am not convinced that Webster can ever start for a team.

Maybe swap out Wes for Beas and the Houston first?

Would do this in a nanosecond.

I would do this as quickly as I could before DEN changed their mind. NeNe is a better player than AR ever will be especially if he is stuck on our bench. I like Randolph but I don't think he will gain any value until he is featured. As long as he sits on benches his value/potential/confidencde continue to dwindle.

Wes is nice, but why not consolidate two nice young pieces into a proven piece at arguably our weakest position? I would kill to have NeNe next to Love. The guy can play around the hoop, defend/rebound at the 5, and has some much needed toughness.

Sign me up.

How old is nene? and is it worth it without seeing anthony n wes really prove themselves as core pieces?

In my opinion, it's always better to take proven commodities if you think you are at the point that you can make the playoffs and contend with that talent for the next 5 years.

With Adelman as coach, I'd say do it. Even if it turns out better for Denver, we'd make the playoffs and who would complain then?

I would think that SG is the weakest position. Darko and Pek can do a good enough job protecting the paint. But what is needed is for someone to get up in perimeter shooters faces.

Tough, as someone else said if it was someone else besides Wes I'd do it. Wes is just someone who I think is going to turn it around this season, and he can play SG..something no one else on our team can play. If we could get Afflalo back in the deal, yes please.
