the Adelman - Kahn rift?

As I'm sure you've all heard and has kinda been discussed, reports are circling that DK and Adel aren't terribly fond of one another? (just one of many examples:
http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/ ... f-gm-kahn/)
Woj details how Adelman has not liked Kahn since Kahn was a beat reporter at the Oregonian while Adelman was the coach there.
I know we discussed Woj already in another post, but that seemed to be mostly about Woj being a blind Kahn hater, but what about Adelmans feelings towards Kahn?
I, like many think Kahn has actually done a decent job and don't understand all the flack he gets, any chance Adelman and Kahn start seeing eye to eye?

I can't imagine anyone would like a person who's job is more or less to air the team's dirty laundry for the public.

but the more important question is, can they be on the same page about this teams nucleus and future?

The ONLY person that has mentioned a Kahn/Adelman rift has been Woj. Think about that for a second... THE ONLY person.
It would be like Rush Limbaugh writing an article on Obama, and Rush being the ONLY person with that opinion. Would you be a little skeptical? Maybe Obama isn't the right person in thise case, but I hope you get my point.
Woj clearly has a hatred for Kahn. It's also well documented that Adelman is a quiet guy, doesn't say a lot, especially to the media. He just goes about his job. He's not friends with Kahn, but it doesn't mean he hates him either. From what I understand, Adelman doesn't really know Kahn, other than Kahn used to be a journalist in Portland.
I put very little value in what Woj has to say about the Wolves.

Woj is disgustingly jealous of Kahn. I'm sure that had a bit to do with all of this BS.

Woj was just on Dan Barreiro's show and pretty much gave a rim job to everyone in the state of Minnesota, gushing about how awesome we are. He just feels we deserve better than Kahn.

Khan has been saying for a long time how he'd love to bring in a system like Adelman had, and used Adelman as his model for how to coach right. Khan worked with Adelman back in Sacramento as the beat writer for the Kings.
I pretty much think that answers the question of what Khan thinks of Adelman as a coach, and how they're going to get along. I expect their working relationship to be:
"You tell me who you want, what you're willing to give up to get them, and I'll figure out how to get it done. Gee willikers you're the best mister Adelman."

Especially considering that seems to be how it was with Rambis too. Darko, Webster and Hayward were all guys Rambis wanted that Kahn went out and got.

It's disappointing Woj would do that (although If my memory serves correct Woj has written foolish things in the past as well)
also why on earth was RealGM so quick to post it with the term "Sources"?
http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/21 ... ea_Of_KahnThis makes me wary of a lot of the other "leaked" info designed to make Kahn look bad in the past.
As Kahn said back in his day you'd call both sides to get a story.
Seems like now you just make it up

You're expecting professional writing from the team of monkeys with typewriters that RealGM uses for its "original content?"

Kahn was the beat writer for the Blazers you mean, when Adelman was the coach for Portland. And they didn't really work together, they barely knew each other.
But Kahn clearly loves all things Northwest, especially Portland, and has frequently mentioned his man crush for the Kings and Adelman. We'll be fine.
