Assuming a season of course.
Who do you see stepping up? Who might be stepping down? Anyone look to be ready to bust out?

Ill say Beasley. Looks to be in GREAT shape and seems to want it bad

I'll say Malcolm Lee. One of the few guys on the roster that can play defense and dribble. I think it'll be hard to keep him off the floor by the end of the year.

I agree. Last year of his rookie deal too.

Beasley seems like a risky pick. I could see him being the most disappointing and if I had to bet, I hate to say it, but I would bet against the guy.

I'm hoping Wesley Johnson is putting in hard work on that dribbling, I think he can be a guy who can really step it up. Maybe Randolph as well.

I'm thinking Wes will take the next step this year

Martell Webster seems like a guy who fits well in Adelman's system.

Assuming he can stay healthy, it's Beasley. He was a lot better than his season averages before he started getting ankle injuries

Tolliver or WJ
Note: If Lee can get decent playing time (surpassing Ellington & Hayward), he'll be in the running.

For non Wolves fans, it's got to be Beasley. I think a lot of people consider him to be a lost cause. He's got nowhere to go but up.

Funny because majority of realgm would say he's going to go down even further. I think he could surprise a lot of people this season but it's going to take a lot more than an improved season for his public image to move up to a positive level.

You could actually point to just about everyone on the T-Wolves' roster that might surprise next season. From Beasley, Wes, Williams, Rubio to Randolph, Webster, Tolliver, and so on.

It's hard to say...we have a lot of guys with talent, but have either underformed or we don't know what role they will be in. Webster showed signs last year, but was oft-injured.. Randolph showed great potential on offense but also isn't terribly smart and has a logjam at his natural position...Wes Johnson seems like a logical choice, he has a new pass-first PG and fits will with Adelman.

Based on expectations, I'd say Darko. He's a good defensive center who doesn't have a terrible coach running the offense through him anymore. No, he won't score 15 PPG or anything like that, but he won't be an albatross on offense either. I still have no idea why there is so much hate for the dude. How many "good" defensive 7 footers are there in the NBA?

It's going to be hard for Love to surprise anyone after the season he had last year, but I think he might surprise a few people with improved defense and conditioning. He looks like a marathon runner at the moment.

Yeah, I doubt the general opinion on these boards will change of Beasley anytime soon. Even if he has a great season there will still be a legion of people saying "he's a dope head herpa derp"

I agree. I haven't seen a lot of him but from the little that I have seen he seems to be very versatile player. He can drive/ slash to the rim, doesn't seem to shy away from contact, can dribble, decent shot, and can play defense. We'll see how that translates to the NBA but I think he could be a nice surprise. Plus, he's a UCLA guard, they usually do well at the next level, right?
I think Wes Johnson is another one if his handles improve. He should benefit from Adelman's style and playing next to Rubio.
