Yahoo Fantasy Basketball

Post#1 » by younggunsmn » Sat Nov 26, 2011 11:03 am

I'm renewing the 2 wolves board leagues from last year.
Both are head to head leagues.

Wolves Board League - 12 teams

Big Timberwolves League - 14 teams played last year, but I would like to increase that to 20 (most yahoo will allow).

Wolves Board League is closed unless somone drops out.
Big Timberwolves League will have room for at least 6 new teams, more if someone drops out.

Those of you who played last year should have received an automated invite email from yahoo to whatever email address you used to register to the league. If you didn't get one, let me know.

Please post here if you are a wolves fan and would like to play, and I will take additional people on a first come first serve basis.

Last year was fun, everyone seemed pretty involved and informed.

I would like to keep the 2 keeper system from last year in the wolves board league. The draft will be in reverse order of record and snaking.

There will be no keepers in the Big Timberwolves league, and a snaking draft order randomly set by yahoo shortly before the draft starts.

If you played last year and can't this year, please let me know as soon as possible. Both drafts are tentatively set for dec 18th (live online), 5 and 8 pm. Would be willing to move that back as far as the 23rd (season will start 25th). I will have to make a decision to replace people I haven't heard from by a week before the draft to assure I have full leagues.

The Wolves Board League has the same setup as last year.
The Big TImberwolves League will have weekly lineups (set for the week on sunday night). Unlimited total pickups, limited to 4 player adds per week. Last year we had rosters of 11 and played 9 players. Those #'s might have to be tweaked if we can get 20 teams.

I'd like to try a Roto League if there is enough interest.
It should be a wild fantasy season with the compressed schedule, lots of 4 game weeks (maybe even some 5 game weeks).
Questions/suggestions?

I'm in. I can delete my team in the big league if others want a spot.

I'll play. Can't remember if i played last year. I think we should wait a few weeks to allow for free agency and player movement to take place.

I think you were in both leagues Krap (Krapinsky's Killaz and Assman?). Finished 3rd in big wolves league I think. The Flynn division has now become the Rubio division. (Beasley division will become Williams division if he is traded.

You guys can start thinking about your 2 keepers. I will probably need them by 24 hrs before the draft, or I will default to the top 2 yahoo ranked players.

Dec 18th is tentative draft date. Hopefully most FA's have signed by then. If not I can push it back no later than the 23rd. I picked a sunday night as I thought that would allow the most people to participate.

I tried to go back and look at my past roster and I can't. I don't know my keepers anymore.

On the main page, there will be a drop bar where you can change the year to last year and see your roster.

Ah found it. Thanks.

As for my two keepers, I'll hold onto LMA & Reke.

I'll join the big board too if a spot is available.

I'll probably keep wall & griffin in the other league. Hopefully I can make the draft this year!
