Yeah, I hope both Rubio and Williams will hit like a homerun.
Even if they don't we still have the most exciting Wolves team since the KG era right now (not saying much, though).
However, I struggle to view Derrick Williams as the front runner for the ROY trophy.
He has to beat out Beasley at the SF position and get a bunch of minutes at a stacked PF position. He's not going to have it easy to play more than 25 minutes.
Kyrie, T. Thompson and Kemba Walker will have the best opportunity to average big stats. They'll all get many minutes, IMO.

Thanks for posting
I don't know why Leonard fell as far in the draft as he did. Not surprised that San Antonio snagged him. Kanter could be on the list if they trade Jefferson and/or Millsap. I like this article though because it's unique and doesn't agree with what everyone else is saying.

I think that depends on how many minutes we see Love at C. If Love plays center 20 or more minutes per game, then DWill should have no problem finding 30 minutes per game.

1 Derrick Williams : Minnesota Timberwolves
2 Kyrie Irving : Cleveland Cavaliers
3 Kemba Walker : Charlotte Bobcats
4 Ricky Rubio : Minnesota Timberwolves
5 Brandon Knight : Detroit Pistons
6 Kawhi Leonard : San Antonio Spurs
7 Jimmer Fredette : Sacramento Kings
8 Kenneth Faried : Denver Nuggets
9 Jan Vesely : Washington Wizards
10 Klay Thompson : Golden State Warriors
I will be really surprised if Ricky lives up to the hype. I'll be glad if he makes it to the top 10 in the rookie ladder by the end of the season.
But what do I know? I expected Enes Kanter to be a top 5 and he is not even in the list...

I don't see Williams getting the minutes for ROY unless a trade goes down early or someone gets hurt. I don't think Ricky will be good enough this year to be considered a ROY candidate.

All I know is that I am really glad we're not dealing with Kyrie Irving, Ricky Rubio and Luke Ridnour all on the same roster.
