Minny-Sacto

Everyone talking about Eric Gordon got my thoughts flowing. Who else at SG is a super stud and may be available. Not really many options out there if u look for young SGs. One I think we could pay full price for and still get a great outcome is 'Reke. Coming out of the draft I did not want him at all, because everyone kept calling him a PG and I knew he wasn't a true point, but play him at the 2 and he is money.

Sac trades: Tyreke Evans and Hassan Whiteside
Min trades: Derrick Williams and maybe Ridnour depending on if hes +/- to Sac.

MN roster:
Rubio/Barea
Evans/Wes/Lee
Beasley/Wes
Love/Randolph
Darko/Pek

Sac roster:
Fredette/(Ridnour)
Thornton/Salmons
DWill/Garcia (great teacher for DW)
Cousins/Hickson
Thompson/Hayes

It helps both teams fill out roster and get rid of their gluts at respective positions. Minny gets a very good ball handler at the 2, as well as freeing up minutes for Wes to play his natural position. Wes being at the 3 will truly show his value and is a good back-up for unstable Beasley. This also lets us play less of a small ball game and more traditional.

Sacramento's glut at the 1/2 is arguably worse than ours at the 3/4. This will free up minutes for Jimmer whom they have pretty much insinuated as being their franchise. Evans obviously won't like that and is a bit of a headcase himself. He won't get enough shots with Jimmer, Thornton and Cousins as blackholes. He needs more of a free flowing offense to get his.

I'd do it, but I don't think the Kings would.

Evans has more value than Williams.

really good value but not a great guy to pair with ricky and beas imo...not a great shooter, ball dominant...rather have more of a knock down shooter who can play off the ball.

I like Williams for Evans but I don't like the idea of Evans and Beasley being our starting wings or even being on the same team. Seems like they'd take the ball out of Rubio's hands too often.
I'd go for something like Williams/Beasley/Ridnour/Mem 1st for Evans/Garcia.

Value-wise we'd win this trade but as it's been mentioned, Evans and Rubio would not be a good pair in the backcourt. Add Beasley as a ball dominant scorer, we'd minimize Rubio's talents.

Ridnour and Evans would be a nice pair in the backcourt, though.

Not a good fit. Derrick Williams + Randolph + Pekovic + Miller + Webster + Utah 1st/Memphis 1st for Gordon + Okafor might be a nice trade.

Rubio/Barea/Ridnour
Gordon/Johnson
Beasley/Johnson
Love/Beasley/Tolliver
Okafor/Milicic

Much more of a team fit.

I would buy a flex package to watch that lineup.

They'd get D. Williams, #2 overall on a four-year rookie contract, Anthony Randolph & 2 firsts as well as salary-relief for Okafor. Next year they'd have Kaman, Webster, Miller all come off the books and wouldn't have to dole out big money to Gordon. They'd have a super-low payroll, tons of cap-space, two lottery picks, two additional firsts. That looks like a recipe to sell the team, which the league is trying to do.

Can't see Tyreke being a good fit next to Rubio, or under Adelman.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but neither Sacramento or NOH would do those deals.

But Gorvans has 4 arms, so he's a monster (literally, he's just like Goro) in the passing lanes.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.
