hey this could be fun!
(or maybe not)

Considering we have a big heap of young talent and potential (and Adelman saying his focus will be on getting some of those sweet, sweet Ws rather than developing people, which is cool) it got me thinking if we could have ANY coach (alive or dead) who would be the best man to get the most out of our squad?
(for me that would mean getting the most out of our guys potential and turning us into a cohesive squad that gets wins)

I'm talking coaches personalities, ideologies, previous successes (as case studies) whatever.

George Karl.

He does amazing things with youth. His teams are always scrappy and very entertaining. He speaks his mind.

I liked Dwayne Casey very much, I hope he turns that Toronto team around.

I'm sure there are some college coaches that could make the jump to the NBA successfully with the current Wolves roster. We are young enough, so a college-level coach could probably do very well at getting players motivated and playing the right way.

But honestly, Adelman is just fine with me. I feel he'll develop the players that are worth developing.

Adelman's got me pretty excited. He choose the Wolves because he and his staff really enjoyed getting the most out of the young players in Houston after the stars went down with injury. And by all accounts we have more talent then they did winning 43 games. 6'6 Chuck Hayes wasn't a good center until Adelman's staff taught him how to play the position right and built the defense to cover up his flaws. He's not the best coach in history, but he might be the best coach in the NBA for us.

I think I'm going to go with a young Larry Brown. He turned into an egomaniac, but he did a great job of getting nobody players to play fantastic defense and was a rather well liked coach in his younger years. I don't want to touch him now though.

Rick Adelman and George Karl are my two favorite NBA coaches in my lifetime. Pat Riley is up there as well.
