What's going to be the starting line up for tommorow?
I'm assuming its

Rubio
Wes or Lee
Beasley
Love
Darko

Also how many practices are scheduled for the season?

From the game thread -

Judging from jerseys today, looks like starting lineup still will be Luke, Wes, Beasley, Love and Darko

I wish Rubio would start.

No idea on the amount of practices.

I didn't think they would play Luke as a starter his handle looked pretty sloppy against the bucks in game 2

I like the thought of going with a lineup that knows each other because chemistry is a huge thing in a shortended season with a shorter training camp but Luke should really be on the bench.

It's too early for me to make a decision, but I'm just glad to see that we have Ridnour or Rubio as coming off the bench as opposed to Telfair or Flynn.

Somebody already said it's not important who start the game, but who finish the game. So I do expect Luke to start, but his role in the team will be reduced. Only if JJ or Rubio became significantly better then they will start.

This is much like a "courtesy serve" ...

I agree Rubio don't start the game. It's better he can see from the bench how oklahoma plays .

shouldn't be long before Williams and Rubio are both around 30 mpg whether they start or not

I don't know about Williams, too much on SF/PF spot... he should be very lucky if he gets 20-25 minutes without some trade or injury. Rubio will have a chance to get ~30 minutes for sure.

Love and Beasley aren't going to be playing 40 minutes a game. Love will get minutes at a center too. Getting 30 minutes will not be a problem for Williams as the season gets rolling.

I would be a little surprised to see Williams getting 30 minutes per game anytime soon with him being used exclusively at PF.

Hey guys, really wondering why you aren't starting Rubio and Williams (and for that matter, Barea) over Ridnour and Beasly. Just doesn't make any sense from an outsiders point of view.

For one Udoh is on Golden State and two it is only one game into the season so far. Adelman needs to see. Little. Ore before he makes changes...

If you are mistaking Ridnour for Udoh I can see why things might not make sense.

Also Adelman has already said that Williams will be playing only PF for now

He played SF yesterday unless it was Tolliver or AR playing SF. I guess it could have been Tolliver but I doubt Williams plays only PF this year. Yeah Adelman thinks he is best at PF but I don't think that means 0 minutes at SF.

I believe AT was playing SF on defense though. On Durant.

Yeah I said it could have been Tolliver at SF (couldn't remember how they matched up on D).

Where did Adelman say that Williams would get 0 minutes at SF?

"I think he's just going to get more comfortable if he's playing one spot rather than two," Adelman said. "I thought he did a very nice job today. He shot the ball really well. When he really gets set, he shoots it pretty good."

I'm guessing this is where you got it from. He will play PF til he is comfortable in the nba/Adelman's offense, not the entire season.
