Yep. More Lee at SG please. Let him take a shot versus the strong wing scorers.

Oh, and can we see some more Rubio-Love pick and rolls?

Quiestest 22/12 game ever? I haven't read or heard one game review that's even mentioned Kevin Love. It's all about Rubio, Beasley, Barea, Wes, Darko, and Williams... For better or worse...

More like 90% Rubio. I watched NBA.com highlights, and it consisted of Rubio passes. Not that I'm complaining since we waited two years to see him, but it will simmer down later.

Oh yeah, it's been about 90% Rubio, but that other 10%, even locally, has been split between Beasley, Barea, Wes, Darko, and Williams. NOTHING is being said about Kevin Love.

Maybe that's a good thing. A double double is expected. It's newsworthy if he doesn't do it.

I'd even like to see more Barea-Love PnRs like we saw in preseason. Nonetheless, we need to be doing that more often, Rubio and Barea.

Loving this thread, great idea Klomp.

It gives us something else to look forward to besides wins this season.

His streak ended against the Warriors last season, so I expected him to destroy them on March 19th

But they did. I remember them saying it because I was worried he might not get it done.

How spoiled are we with Love?

He goes 22 and 12, and we think, "Meh. Maybe he'll do better next game?"

Only 12 players averaged 22 or more points last year
Only 4 players averaged 12 boards.

Did he impress tonight?

Love kept the Wolves in the game on his own tonight. Most of the team played lethargic and bad: Beasley, Milicic, Wes, Tolliver. But Love (with the help of the ref's early in the first) just kept battling and battling.

He's such a dangerous player. He's got a shot, he can pass, he can board, he's strong. IMO, he played the best defense on Bogut all night, too. Darko, as someone in the game thread posted, "looks like a human white flag." We need to get this guy some relief down low, in any way possible.

Love after two games:

#1 in OFF REB
#1 in DEF REB
#2 in MPG (40.5) .. guess the weight loss helps!
#7 in EFF
#1 in FT's (28) :)

and #1 in double doubles. (2-for-2)

If Kevin Love wins the Most Improved Player award, does he automatically win the MVP award as well?
