Beasley has to go

Post#1 » by Rondo2Hondo » Wed Dec 28, 2011 4:06 am

The team seems like they mesh well together, with the exception of Johnson and Beasley. They both don't fit in with your offense. That jumper from the knuckle that Beasley took was stupid.

They really need someone to compliment Love and Rubio. Any small forwards or shooting guards out there that can hit the 3? Paul George would be great but is untouchable.

Also, what's going on with Wes Johnson? He was supposed to be NBA ready

The Paul George who was taken with the pick that Kahn refused to trade Flynn for? Don't remind me.

Wes needs to come off the bench and not start. Beasley needs some discipline. He needs to keep playing to keep his trade value up. If Mike goes we will need someone in return that can score the ball.

He tries to ISO too much. Hopefully he starts playing better so you guys can ship him out for an established scorer.

I'm not ready to give up on Beasley yet. Let a coach like Adleman get some ample time with him. If we find a deal we really like then make a move but no need to force a trade after a couple bad games under a new regime. The team hasn't looked incredible without Beasley on the floor either.

Ugh I dunno. Trade him now, get nothing. If he ever increases his value, it means he's probably starting to put things together.

Beasley is a stud off of cuts, but the stand n stare iso's aren't great

now that i think about it, Beasley is a really nice scorer off the ball in general, his mid range jumpers are money too when somebody else sets him up

Beasley/Johnson/Randolph/Pek/picks to New Orleans for Gordon/Okafor/Ariza

Rubio/Ridnour
Gordon/JJ
Ariza/(Webster)
Love/DWill
Okafor/Darko

That would be a vast improvement.

+1

I would much rather trade Wes Johnson at this moment for a better shooting guard.

Wes Johnson, Martell Webster and Anthony Randolph for Kevin Martin? Houston be interested?
"That's why the last two years weren't guaranteed," Walsh said. "Either way, he knew it could have happened either way."

No more Ridnour starting. Barea or Rubio. Beasley off the bench wouldn't sit well and could ruin his confidence. I remember him saying on twitter he's not a bench player.

No chance in hell from a Hornets fan's perspective. We're not giving up Gordon for that little.

Let's blow on the defensive end even more. Ridnour, Martin, Beasley, can you assemble a worse perimeter D ?

No, but benching him isn't going to do anything for this team. Nobody else can score like him on this team. He's our only hope on offense and can create his own shot. It would just make things uglier than they already are. Last thing we need is for him to be pissed off at this team even if it's his own fault. It would kill his trade value too.
