Just spit-ballin but would anyone be down for the following trade? We could go the rest of the season and see how they play together but on paper it would be an extremely talented, young team.

MN out: Ridnour, Pekovic, Randolph, Mem 1st, Utah 1st
MN in: Cousins, Mayo

Sac out: Cousins
Sac in: Ridnour, Pekovic, Utah 1st

Mem out: Mayo
Mem in: Randolph, Mem 1st

Rubio/Barea
Mayo/Ellington/Lee (Webster)
Beasley/Johnson (Webster)
Love/Williams/Tolliver
Cousins/Milicic/Tolliver (Miller)

I have to believe Sacramento would get better offers for Cousins.

And I don't want Cousins here. Too much of a douche bag.

If Cousins was on the curb and had a stamp “FREE” on his head, I would just walk past him.

Don't want Cousins, sorry.

I thought you were going to get really clever and do something like...

Pek, Ellington, Mem Pick to Sac
Cousins to Memphis
Mayo to Minnesota...

Cousins will bring a much needed to big to Memphis... just saying

I have issues with Mayo, but maybe we take him. Cousins? No way in hell, the dude couldn't help this team.
He doesn't belong in Minnesota, our owner would never want him either.

That's not a bad trade idea at all, though we would be overpaying a bit, need to get a 2nd back maybe.
:)

Oh I know Memphis needs a back-up big, I don't know if they'd want Randolph and Cousins on a team together although their issues may be separate.

Kings say they won't trade Cousins, and they certainly wouldn't for that offer. I think if we were looking to make that deal we should send DMC to MEM. Bring Mayo home.

I just have a hard time believing Adelman would like seeing Cousins turn the ball over all the time.

I'm sure Cousins is dying to play in Minnesota.

“He’s selfish,” one source close to the team said of Cousins. “He’s always angry or clowning. He needs to change. The Kings have been great about covering things up for him, and his agent has been protecting him.

“He’s always miserable. He acts like he’s entitled.”

Some players are disillusioned with the constant drain of Cousins’ tantrums, sulking and absence of professionalism. “He’s a bully, and they let him get away with it,” one source said. “No one wants to deal with the guy.”

What?

You're giving up a back-up PG, third string C, a headcase of your own and two low picks for two talented young players, who play on positions of huge need for this ballclub and could start right away. You're going to flat out say 'no' to that, cause you just don't like one of them? What did Cousins kill your dog or something?

Last i checked, this team needed a real starting caliber C pretty badly and those guys are a very rare commodity. If you want Hakeem Olajuwon or David Robinson, you're not gonna get them, nobody trades talented bigmen, unless they demand it or a handful to deal with. You don't like Cousins' attitude? Well people didn't like Wilt Chamberlain's attitude. Or Shaquille O'Neal's. Or Kareem's. Webber's. Rasheed's. They all changed their teams, cause they were immature self-entitled pricks and you can criticize them all you want, that doesn't change the fact that they were pretty good players. And I'm not saying that Cousins will reach their level or even come close. But when a talented 7-footer of his skills is on the market, you have to at least consider it. Maybe the asking price will be to high, but flat out refusing to even think about the idea is short-sighted at best.

That's the most I'd pay for Mayo, but I'd say yes. I think sending them another player instead of the pick would help them more in a "win-now" scenario.

I'd pay this price for Cousins too, and I think it's fair, but it looks to me from the trade board that a lot of fans would pay far more. If he demands a high price, I'd say, "help yourself - I'm not matching"

this x 10. lost in all the tantrums is the fact that cousins is just a terrible, terrible, inefficient player right now. I would much rather have randolph. you don't add the biggest cancer in the league to a team this young and exciting. you just don't.

Yep. His turnovers alone would drive our coach crazy, the guy is a jackass.
