Pau Gasol
Kahn needs to trade
Mike Beasley
Wes Johnson
Martell Webster
Nikola Pekovic
And a second round pick for Pau Gasol
This makes T Wolves a legitimate playoff threat with Love Outside scoring with Gasol low post scoring while opening up Williams role in the offense

What makes you think the Lakers would want that?

basketball reasons.

That trade might actually not be all that great for us though considering it would make our horrible wing rotation even worse.

Re: Pau Gasol
While I think the idea of teaming Ricky with one of his HOMEboys would be great for him, I don't know that Pau would be a good addition to the team. He's been on a championship contending team for years and to join the puppies right now might make him a bit of a locker room poison. My feeling is that he wants to win now!
I go back Raja Bell as a veteran that would be a good additon to our team. This was discussed quite a bit towards the end of last year and with comments I read today, Utah might be ready to let him move on.

We have to do the impossible, but it is possible.

Not interested in Pau.
Not interested in Raja Bell either. I don't think he's the Raja of old and wouldn't be much of an upgrade (if any) over what we can put out there now.

Switch Webster for Ridnour and I'm cool with it, honestly. Tho I know I'm in the minority.
EDIT: Nevermind. Didn't see that 2nd round pick in there. Wolves clearly pass.

Many of us feel that 31.5 year old Pau Gasol, getting the league max for three years, is too expensive and risky.
Check the trade board for a few big debates

I forgot to throw Ebanks in their for the Wolves
The Lakers would make this trade because it makes them a lot younger , let Bynum take a bigger role. Also Beasley can be their second pure scorer.
Also Gasol isnt over paid, hes worth the money hes making. Having Gasol gives Love even more incentive to resign. Its not like the Wolves can convince any all stars to come to play in that market.
And the Wolves is overcrowded at the 3/4 this trade allows Williams to play 30 mins a night

Damn, might as well close up shop then. Or just move the team to SoCal.

Teams have got by find without being a free agent attraction. You just have to draft well (check) and trade for All Stars.

Rubio is the only good draft choice in the past how many years?
Rhetorical question - I don't want to know the answer.

Re: Pau Gasol
Send Gasol to Houston, Scola and Martin to Minnesota, and some pieces to LA.
Not going to be the one to figure this one out.

Scola is a PF not Center, Love is a PF not center
This isn't PS3 can't just plug players in at any position and expect them to be effective. Scola and Love for a starting frontcourt would be the smallest frontcourt and the worst defensive front court
If you knew anything about basketball I wouldn't of had to explain that to you

I think Rubio, Love, and Adelman can attract a star to come here. I'm not worried.

That is just sad. Such belligerence while being completely wrong.
They didn't draft Love.

Trading for someone on draft day is the same thing as drafting them.
Thats like saying the Lakers didn't draft Kobe.....technically yea they didnt but HES NEVER WORE ANY JERSEYS OTHER THAN THE PURPLE AND GOLD
