i just realized something about the Timberwolves. this is their young players and their draft pick.

Love 5th pick
Rubio 5th
Wes Johnson 4th
Williams 2nd
Beasley 2nd
Darko 2nd

That is crazy. okc have 2nd and 4th but is there any other team that even gets close?

Martell Webster was a 6th pick as well.

All these guys high draft selection generally points to great potential, but it's what they do when they reach the nba that matters most. We keep our fingers crossed.

No need to mention Darko, yes he is the 2nd pick but he was drafted the same year as the Miami Heat big 3 and Melo. The dude is as good as he's ever gonna get.

might be OT for this post but WHYYYY did we lose to the Cavs? we need to sign Love to an extension and I really hope we do, but we need to smack down teams like the Cavs to make that happen. (sorry if this is rambling, I really hope it's not)

edit: this is relevant because, without Love we aren't that scary a team.

From his interview earlier today doesn't seem like he would commit to the t-wolves before the extension deadline. So would probably be an offseason extension.

At one point in time; your prediction of this team becoming a playoff contender is going to become reality. It "might" just take them 12 years to turn it around. This team is a joke.

Oh, you're just bitter because you jumped on the OJ Mayo screen name on just before draft night 2008, and McHale trade him for Kevin Love + half of Rubio + the cap space for Beasley, obsoleting your cool screen name.

Now you have to sit around hoping we trade for Mayo.
