 Nice.

I hate early start games, that makes it around 4 or 5am here and I'm not that committed. Maybe if they were 7-0.

I'm going to have to set my alarm clock for this one. :)

The thing to watch here is the difference the team plays in a very early game. As for team matchups, the Wizards have performed awfully so far this season. Perhaps we can snag a win here or maybe we won't. All I hope is that we won't watch another repeat preformance from last game. We'll just have to wait and see.

I expect a blowout win for the Wolves. Lots of frustration taken out on the poor Wiz.

I'll be leaving town if we lose. If every game is a must win, this one is a MUST WIN.

agree must win...i shall be watching

i suggested a trade with washington in the cavs game thread. our wings have sucked shlong so far this year...i definitely think we should pursue either nick young or jordan crawford. nick young will be an unrestricted free agent after this year so the risk is there for pursuing him...if we could work out an extend and trade that would be nie...i don't believe he will be inclined to stay in washington at all after being denied a long term deal and the team playing poorly so i definitely think they will be very open to moving him....great scorer, not much else but he would certainly be an upgrade over wes who i am massively disapointed with after trying to support hikm after hoping to see improvement over summer.

jordan crawford would be an outstanding fit here imo, seems to be in the dog house a bit in washington...bit of a low i.q, poor shot selection but he's a combo who has a some good upside and is still learning the game...again would be an upgrade over wes...i was screaming for us to take him in the draft when he was still available late.

we need to upgrade our wings in a big way.

I'll be so disappointed if we become the first team to lose against the Wizards. I can totally see us losing this.

Flip sucks as coach, still getting paychecks thanks to KG's teams from early 00s though, so can't hate on the man.

Is beasley out?

this could be the most important game of the season (hyperbole) we can't be the team the Wizards beat.

one more thing: i know there's not a huge difference between 2 and 3 in our system, but if Beasley is struggling maybe it's time we started playing Wes at the 3 and let him matchup against other 3s as opposed to 2s.

From what I've heard, Beasley is out this entire 3-game roadtrip. So yes.

Welcome to the forums!

I wonder, with all the new Timberwolves fans coming in from across the border, it looks like more fans are from there instead of in Minnesota posting on this forum.

Eh. Expecting a win is one thing. Expecting a blowout win is another thing.

Not that expecting a win, regardless of the opponent, is something we should be doing now. Yes, they are improved over the last years' teams but still, they are young and prone to play badly. John Wall will go nuts on Ridnour. That's for sure.
