So what happened to using Love as a facilitator?

Timberwolves coach Rick Adelman believes Brad Miller’s presence will benefit All-Star forward Kevin Love who, while leading the league in rebounding, averaged just 2.5 assists per game last season.
"There is no way he should average two or three assists a game," Adelman said. "I'm sorry, that should be up. This whole team is that way, though. They have to learn to share the ball and make the extra pass."
-------
"He told me, 'Your points might go up and down, your rebounds might go up and down, but the one thing I want to go up and only up is your assists,'" Love said. "I told him I can do that."
http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/21 ... z1j1UtKLOXSo far this season the opposite happened. Love's FG attempt and point is up. His turnover is up but his assist is down.
The way i look at it. No high post passer= no Adelman system. The backdoor cuts and the corner set with the 2 guard screen is a stable of Adelman's offense. All of that require a high post passer. So what happened to the Kevin Love experiment as a facilitator?

We aren't running Adelman's offense yet, we haven't had time to learn it. We are playing pick-up basketball on offense. The only reason it hasn't been a total disaster is because of Rubio's mastery of the pick 'n' roll. Any time Rubio is not in the game, it is a total disaster.

Yeah, his system takes a while to learn. Considering this team is pretty young, it will be a work in progress throughout the season.

I thought "high character" guys were supposed to be smarter, and didn't Darko get praise fro learning Rambis' system in two weeks? And wasn't Rambo's system supposed to be similar to Adelmens?
Why is our team so stoopid?

Rambis's system was
Option 1: Give ball to Darko in the post for a miss
Option 2: Do multiple hand-offs behind the 3pt line and take contested shot
Not too complicated to learn.
