Question

Post#1 » by darbstar » Wed Jan 11, 2012 10:00 am

Can someone please explain to me why Alderman is giving so many minutes to Tolliver and Ellington?? Their shooting stats are terrible in the 30% range while Randolph is playing much fewer minutes with a fg% 58% and Williams could certainly play more minutes

Are ellington and Tolliver good defenders or something????

Alderman?

Coaches seem to like Tolliver because he works his ass off on the court and does the little things well like taking charges. Ellington's getting big minutes because we don't have many other options at SG atm.

Pretty much can be summed up in one word: injuries. Beasley is injured. Martell Webster is injured. Malcolm Lee is injured. We basically only have one SG (Ellington) and one SF (Johnson) healthy. Tolliver is playing a lot at SF right now. Williams is still learning the game and Adelman wants to keep him at one position (PF) while he is learning the NBA.
