Once we get healthy...

Look out! We are going to be very deep.

Rubio / Ridnour / Barea
Webster / Ellington / Lee
Beasley / Johnson / Tolliver
Love / Williams / Randolph
Milicic / Miller / Pekovic

Will be interesting to see if we try to consolidate some of that depth.

Kind of a quagmire ... I'd like to start by packing up a 2-for-1 to get N.Batum. :)

Klomp as you always seem on top of the media stories, maybe you'd like to take one for the team and use this thread to update any news reports on injury statuses so we can keep track of when some of these guys are returning? I'm totally in the dark on all these guys that are out.

I heard during the game Webster starts full contact practice tomorrow, not sure when he'll play though.

I can't wait until this team gets healthy. Once we get the starting lineup figured out, the remaining bench players should be able to stretch leads rather than try to not lose them (like most teams).

At first I was like, "ehhh i'd rather start Pek and bring Brad off the bench, but now that I think about it, we should get Darko's minutes out of the way quick so he still feels he is an important part to this team by starting.

I'm not sure what to expect from Miller, but it's quite obvious we'll need to address the center position regardless. If Webster/Barea can stay healthy, SG may not be as big of an issue as most of us believe.

Beasley/Williams/Center situation is still unsettling IMO. Will Beasley be able to overcome his slump and become a better player in the process? Will we re-sign him? Is Williams going to be a PF off the bench playing limited minutes for the rest of his time here? Lucky for us, Williams holds good trade value and could be flipped for something down the road. Wes Johnson is.....sigh.

5-8 is so good considering we're w/out 2nd leading scorer and starting SG

Adelman says Webster and Miller will both practice tomorrow. Lots of conditioning work to do, but there is a light at end of tunnel 4 both

Pek needs more minutes. Honestly, he should be the starting Center.

Really I don't expect much of Miller, but it's nice to see all players giving a step ahead one to one, the last one Pekovic. We must not forget that basically this is worst team of the last season with another coach and a rookie PG.

I remember Adelman said he wanted a 9/10 men rotation, and it would fine if we can be around -2 in the W/L at the middle of the season and play the last 30 games with this core of 10 men and fight to get the 8th of the West (maybe it will be necessary +1 or +2 W/L).

If Miller is healthy I just can't see him not starting over Darko who brings nothing to the table right now, other than an uncanny ability to miss bunny layups and then complain to the official about getting hacked. Pek atleast bring some energy though he's a foul machine, I'd rather see Pek get Darko's mins and go with a smaller lineup with Love at the 5 and DWill at the 4 when possible.

I think the more likely outcome is for Miller's minutes to be limited to crunch time and mismatches. Adleman clearly values end-of-game situations over starting, and that is where the Wolves have need of a veteran presence at center.

I'm really curious to see what Miller has left. A younger, healthy Miller would be perfect for this team. Unfortunately, the version of Miller that we have is neither of those. I'd definitely give him all of Darko's minutes if he can handle it, though.

Darko should be fined every time he tries a layup instead of a dunk.

Probably true, but I still can't see why Darko would get any kind of meaningful mins if Miller is healthy, offensively his game is a mess and while he's blocking some shots his overall defense isn't anything special. With so few true C's in the league I just don't think is worthy of burn unless the matchup dictates it.

Its amazing how inept he is around the rim. Right now AR and Pek offer more than Darko imo, and Miller should as well once healthy. Anyone think Darko is amnestied after the season?

We should defnitely use it on either him or Pekovic. Or Wes.

Atleast Pek is putting up an effort and accepts his role on the bench, Darko likely ends up pouting.

Worst case with Wes, I think you could atleast dump him for an expiring to a team in hopes they can turn him around. What Wes was doing with Kobe all offseason, certainly wasn't working on his jump shot its ugly right now.

I was at the game last night, and Darko had SUCH a wide open layup and totally botched it. He made a decent move to get to the hoop and then he tried some dumb finger roll layup thing, when he should have just STUFFED it in. He's so soft it's ridic.

One thing I did notice though, is decent to good defense though. It's just that he's such a liability on offense though it cancels out the OK defense he plays.

I would much rather have Pek in there, cuz at least he's more competent offensively. In my mind though, I think Brad Miller, if he doesn't break is an upgrade on both and should get decent minutes. Brad>Pek>>Darko
