RR vs Lowry: SICK!
Love should dominate Scola
Dalembert is very efficient
Martin can shoot but Ellington too, and he can defend K-Mart as well. I'd rather play Wayne than Luke
Their SF are their weakest link, but Courtney Lee has hot hands from 3.
They are, overall, a team that shoots really well. The score a lot of points in the paint, but they allow even more.
They are considered a better team than us. But if we beat them, we might be back right on track on the PO race since it will be close call at the end between Jazz, Nuggets, Blazers, Rockets and hopefully us.

Watch them light us up from 3.

I think (pending on this game) end with a better record than the Rockets, or at least we SHOULD. They have more established talent (Lowry, Martin, Scola, even Dalembert) but I think we can do it.
I highly doubt we will have a better record than the Nuggets, Jazz, or Blazers

McHale has always said his offense is very simple.
Find the biggest mismatch and keep going to that.
What do you see is his game plan here?

Injuries: Wolves F Michael Beasley (sprained foot) is not expected to play. G J.J. Barea will be evaluated at the morning shootaround and could be a game-time decision. G Martell Webster (back surgery) and C Brad Miller (knee surgery) are listed as doubtful

Don't worry. If we are above .500, we'll be there. Nuggets, Jazz & Blazers will, sooner or later, come back to Earth a.k.a. their reality.
Remember that this is a shortened and compact season. Young legs will have the edge sooner or later.

So you're going with the, I'd rather be the grasshopper than the ant angle? Count me out. I'd rather be the team stockpiling wins now. Helps you figure out close games later. The 8 seed in the West usually always has a record over .500. Grizzlies were .561 last year. Oklahoma was .610 the year before that. This isn't the Eastern conference.

It will be interesting to see how teams are shaken up around the trade deadline as well. I feel that with the shortened offseason, new CBA, a couple of teams looking ready to blow it up, and a few superstars wanting to move, this has the potential to really shake up the bottom of the standings. We shouldn't be making any moves this year that bring in more young unproven talent so maybe we actually get better at the trade deadline.
I'm also optimistic that an infusion of injured players will make us more dangerous than we have been. I know all teams deal with injuries, but it'll be nice to see what we have in Webster, Lee, Barea, and Miller when they become available. I also think Beasley will help, although he is more of a known commodity.
Ultimately I think we will have a better record than these rockets, and possibly the nuggets as well. I bet Denver makes a couple moves that shakes things up quite a bit.

I think we'll see Scola and Dalembert get a TON of touches tonight. I can see him wanted to show the Wolves up around the rim.

Houston has won 6 in a row going into this game.
When's the last time we won 6 in a row?

I don't know but I feel like we have a pretty good chance of winning if we keep them from hitting too many 3's.

I think it's pretty much a given that Flynn has his career game against us?
But honestly, I think we match up well against the Rockets, and in many ways they resemble the Utah Jazz (which could be a bad thing since we recently lossed to them). We'll see what happens.

I don't think Flynn will have a career game against us because he isn't even able to get enough minutes to do so behind Lowry and Dragic.

Predicting a victory, but it will be a close game. Hopefully Adelman can give our guys some tips on stopping Martin and Scola.
