CHA - MIN - POR (from trade board)

Here's one of the more interesting ones I've seen, and it's gotten pretty good feedback.
Ian Kognitow wrote:CHA:
IN: Derrick Williams (~$4.75M)
OUT: Bismack Biyombo, DJ Augustin, CHA #2 2012 (~$6M)
--The Bobcats need all the talent they can get and, while Biyombo is a very nice prospect at center, Williams is a better prospect and overall talent upgrade. Add their lottery pick this year (Drummond, Davis, or Sullinger) to Williams/Walker and CHA would have a decent foundation to work with next year.
--Projected Roster:
SF: Derrick Williams / Boris Diaw / [Corey Maggette]
PF: Tyrus Thomas / DJ White / Derrick Brown
C: Byron Mullens / DaSagana Diop
PG: Kemba Walker / Cory Higgins
SG: Gerald Henderson / Matt Carroll / [Reggie Williams]
MIN:
IN: Nicolas Batum, Bismack Biyombo, Marcus Camby (~$16M)
OUT: Derrick Williams, Darko Milicic, Anthony Randolph, UTA #1 2012 (~$12.5M)
--As long as MIN would extend him for what he's worth, Batum gives them a long-term answer at SG. Between himself and Biyombo, MIN would be gaining two top-flight prospects who, perhaps most importantly, are primarily known for defense. The potential balance with those two providing the team with a premier interior *and* perimeter defender, and with Love/Rubio/Beasley providing the offense, could make it such that this trade would settle the core of the team for many years to come.
--Biyombo is already a first-rate shot blocker. He is a tremendous athlete and seems very smart. And here he'd be able to learn a bit under Camby for a year. With that experience and a full training camp in the autumn, he could be ready to be a major contributor as soon as next year.
--The projected roster actually looks like it goes a pretty solid 12 deep (Plus Malcolm Lee, if he proves any good). The team really wouldn't need the conditional UTA pick.
--Projected Roster:
SF: Michael Beasley / Martell Webster / Wes Johnson
PF: Kevin Love / Anthony Tolliver
C: Nikola Pekovic / Marcus Camby / Bismack Biyombo
PG: Ricky Rubio / Luke Ridnour
SG: Nicolas Batum / JJ Barea / Wayne Ellington
POR:
IN: DJ Augustin, Anthony Randolph, Darko Milicic, UTA #1 2012, CHA #2 2012 (~$11M)
OUT: Nicolas Batum, Marcus Camby (~$13M)
--It is not clear at all if POR can re-sign Batum or if he has any inclination to stay with the team at all, while Camby is headed for retirement. While they would also have to be re-signed, Augustin/Randolph should be relatively inexpensive. Augustin is arguably an upgrade on Felton, while Randolph could provide the team with a versatile frontcourt player. Randolph still has loads of potential and would probably get more opportunity for minutes in POR given how thin they are in the frontcourt.
--Milicic obviously has his limitations and is inconsistent but he's at least under 30, has generally been healthy, and is signed for a few more years at a relatively cheap cost for a starting center.
--The UTA pick is lottery protected but could be had this year if UTA continues to play well. Also, the CHA 2nd rd pick would be high enough that they could land a solid player there.
--Projected Roster:
SF: Gerald Wallace / Luke Babbitt
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Anthony Randolph / Craig Smith
C: Darko Milicic / Kurt Thomas / [Greg Oden]
PG: Raymond Felton / DJ Augustin / Nolan Smith
SG: Wesley Matthews / Jamal Crawford / Elliot Williams
