Hasn't been done yet, wiretap wrong once again. This was the tweet that they linked.

Wolves will send Malcolm Lee to D League for week's worth of games when he's ready, which Adelman says will be "soon"

Great decision. Guy needs to get some time on the court to build some confidence.

+1

They can take Darko along, too.

Darko's D has been too important for us to drop him. Our interior defense is night and day with him in there. Give Adelman a chance to figure out the right level of Darko offense.

Which should be 0.

Like the move, I wouldn't be that opposed to sending Williams to. If him and Lee can get major minutes playing basketball it'll be good for them. No need to waste time sitting on the bench.

Timberwolves #s: C Pekovic is +13.4 per 100 possesions (109.8-96.4) vs. Milicic's -9.7 (91.5-101.2). Too bad Pek wasn't on the board...

I'm glad to hear that. I think he could really contribute a lot to this team, more so than Wes Johnson.

I'm really excited to see Lee back in a Wolves uniform. I am, however, trying to be cautious with my enthusiasm. I recall being wildly excited about having Martell Webster back and well.......

Eh. 16 points on 15 shots isn't great but he hit almost 50% which is nice. 6 assists is positive. I'd give him 2 weeks worth of games at least to get back in basketball mode. I wouldn't be opposed to just letting him play down there until one of our PG/SG goes down to injury.

It's his first game since knee surgery and you are worried about his efficiancy? I think with the way Adelman loves having two ball handlers on the court, I can see Malcom working his way into the rotation fairly quickly.

Completely agree. Maybe we'll see a lineup of Rubio/Barea/Ridnour/Lee/Love or Pekovic now lol

Seriously though, the way Adelman used the 3 PGs at the same time last night, thats exactly a situation I see Lee fitting in. I've been saying this since preseason. No, Lee isn't the shooter that the others are, but he doesn't have to be. Lee's defense also would mean that one of the others wouldn't have to be mismatched on the other team's best perimeter player

If Lee can come in and earn rotation time, I think it could also keep Ridnour and JJ mainly playing SG minutes, which is where they seem to be better producers for us (when they are hitting their shots). Lee could be Rubio's backup and hopefully run the offence better than Ridnour and JJ have been doing.
