Calling it a foot injury instead of an ankle injury scares me. An ankle injury wouldn't be much of a worry with regards to next season, but a foot injury could be a problem. I was/am really counting on Bjelica being a cheap rotation player next season.

Wasn't Payne ahead of Hill on the depth chart the last time Bjelica missed time?

Bummer for Belly. He was playing some good ball lately.

I've been hard on Belly most the season (justifiably so IMO) but he'd been playing real well the last month or so, real punch in the guts to see him go down.

I guess we've only got ourselves to blame because of the bad start, but it just feels like everything that can go wrong is going wrong in regards to the playoff race now.

More likely to be Cole Aldrich than those two, even though he's more of a centre. Thibs has played him more than those guys all season. I don't even know why they signed Hill, he's barely played.

This sucks. Belly was playing great the last month. Wolves were killing it when he was in the floor and were a +8 with him and Towns.

That's a freaking bummer.

The worst is, for me personally at least, that the other day after the Wizards win, I was thinking that despite the recent upswing something would happen to one of the rotation players. Not that I was thinking of a season ending injury but another sprained ankle like Lance had earlier or a hyper extended knee, though.

I'd love to pick up Omri Casspi but he more than likely tries to catch on with a playoff team. Maybe the Clippers?

I always worry about those mid foot metatarsal sprains or fractures. Sometimes they are really stubborn to heal.

Ugh, no.... a navicular bone fracture is what kept Joel Embiid out for so long. That sucks so bad.

That could really hurt the team next year. It's going to be a lot harder to put together a good rotation If the Wolves have to go into next season with both LaVine and Bjelica recovering (and potentially not ready at the start of the year).

Classic Timberwolves luck.
