JR Smith to Minnesota a Good Idea?

The Wolves really need a 2 guard that can shoot and score, and JR Smith fits that description.

It doesn't matter. His twitter account lists half a dozen teams he's considering and we're not one of them.
NYK? LAL? LAC? CHI? ORL? iNDI?

i have no idea why so many people are against this move. We have virtually no chance of getting him anyway, but HYPOTHETICALLY it would be a pretty good move.
The Wolves are starved for a 3rd scorer, that much has become evident. We just don't have enough guys who are putting the ball in the basket consistently.
Here are our scorers:
Kevin Love
Beasley
Pek
Barea
Ridnour.
Barea has been injured, Ridnour and Beasley have been inconsistent and Pek is a new variable.
JR can score, and it would be refreshing to have a tall off guard rather than another undersized guy.
His biggest flaws are ball stopping and potentially bad chemistry.
Personally I take the risk, we keep dreaming about a super SG that will save us, but honestly the pickings are slim, there's not too many SGs out there: that can shoot and have length that we could realistically get.
So yeah, I think it's time we got off our high horses.
