Wolves-Lakers-Rockets

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=88zzsgs

MN in: Martin, Gasol
MN out: Beasley, Ridnour, Johnson, Webster, Milicic, Miller, Utah 1st, Memphis 1st

Minnesota goes all in.

Rubio/Barea
Martin/Ellington/Lee
Williams/Martin/Tolliver
Love/Williams/Randolph
Gasol/Pekovic

Hou in: Webster, Miller, LAL TPE, Utah 1st, Memphis 1st, LAL 1st, Dallas 1st
Hou out: Martin, Scola

Houston sheds salary to go after the big free agents this off-season. Has a lot of 1st to complement and a ton of cap-space. SF/PF would be an area of need, they can also go hard after Dwight and Batum.

Lowry/Dragic
Lee/Webster/Williams
Webster/Parsons/Budinger
Patterson/Hill
Dalembert/Hill/Miller

LAL in: Scola, Beasley, Johnson, Ridnour, Milicic
LAL out: Gasol, TPE, LAL 1st, Dallas 1st

Lakers re-tool and add a ton of depth to their currently thin roster.

Ridnour/Fisher/Blake
Bryant/Johnson/Goudelock
Johnson/Beasley/Barnes/World Peace
Scola/Beasley/McRoberts
Bynum/Milicic

Guessing that Houston might not get enough back?

I question whether the Lakers or Houston does it. Seems a little too good for Minnesota. Keeping Rubio, Love, Pekovic AND Williams while acquiring Gasol and Martin doesn't seem likely. Williams would definitely have to be going somewhere I'd think.

Maybe Williams goes to Houston and then the Lakers hold on to one of their 1sts and the Wolves hold on the the Memphis pick?

Lol. Houston gets absolutely a bad deal here. Trading two of your 3 best players for 4 low 1st round picks...sucks.

Lakers hold onto their 1sts
Williams to Houston
Memphis pick stays in Minnesota.
Add in Ron Artest and Ebanks for Webster
$0.02

That's pretty much what I was thinking.

:-? Hm. Trading Williams leaves us with a gaping hole at SF and no cap-space. I just don't think Gasol will fit with the team.

I wouldn't mind just sending out Ridnour, Milicic, Johnson for expirings, buying out Webster, Miller retires, renounce Beasley, Randolph and don't resign Tolliver.

We'd be around $34.5 million. Go hard after Gordon ($12mil/yr) & Batum ($10mil/yr) or something like that.

Rubio/Barea
Gordon/Ellington/Lee
Batum/Williams
Love/Williams
Pekovic

I wouldn't mind 10 mil. for Batum. However, 12 mil. for Gordon is too much.

I'd love the original deal but Houston gets straight up robbed. Lol.

Yea Houston aint getting much back but I do not really care. They Shed a ton of salary and gain more picks. Oh If the Rockets fall out of the playoff races, which they would with this trade, they will be able to keep their pick plus we already have the Knick pick. Maybe they make the playoffs maybe they don't. Also Utah could be a lotto pick. I would say yes but not sure about the others.

houston gets 4 **** 1st round picks and sheds all that salary? there's no way any gm would allow that in this years draft. that would be sweet as a mug tho, 6 first round picks in a loaded draft. thats just cheating, on top of that we got all the cap space in the world.

dwight - why would i wanna go to houston?

morey - WE GOT SIX FIRST ROUND **** PICKS IN THIS YEARS DRAFT YOU IMBECILE!!!

dwight - OH **** WORD? HOT DIGGITY DAAM WHERE DO I SIGN?

Wolves In: K-Mart
Wolves Out: Derrick Williams, Luke Ridnour

Lakers In: D-Will, Ridnour, Terrance Williams (Filler), Houston 1st
Lakers Out: Pau Gasol

Rockets In: Pau Gasol
Rockets Out: Terrance WIlliams, K-Mart, Houston 1st

Considering the Rockets were going to send Scola, Kmart & their first to NO to land Pau in the Chris Paul 3 way trade, I see this as very beneficial for them.

The Wolves might need to throw in the Utah Pick in order to sweeten the pot a bit for LA, but overall I think this would be a solid landing for the Wolves, and a realistic deal.

PS, I'm new. RubeChat that's just been overrun by bits...
